An angel's fight.

"Good."he grinned looking around "So these are all the little newbie,half-breed toe-rags we're supposed to teach?"He grinned

"Yeah defo Not calling him 'Uncle' if she marries him...he's such a ass."Heath muttered

 

Katryn shook her head at him, though remained smiling, "You're the new teacher? And well, they aren't all that bad but yeah, these are the new students"

 

"Yeah Im the new one...Hayden talked me into it "he grinned down at her

"Gimme a bucket.Yuck!"

"Heath,shut up!"

 

Sorcha's thoughts wandered away from everyone back to her late husband. Gabriel had fallen and she not long after him. When he'd died, he left her with Devlin and she'd grown bitter. Her sulferic green eyes glowed and a soft rain started to fall outside.

 

"Hmmm ....might make flying a little harder...but not impossible...Kids,could you get a rain jacket from the back and head outside while Daniel gives you a demonstraition on how to use your wings..."

 

Ashley went to get her coat, carfully getting it and she opened her wings as she headed out, revealing they were pure white like the rest of the family.

Lucas watched Ashley transfixed for a moment before he turned to Delvin, "We going?"

 

Heath got up and headed outside with his sister

 

Devlin nodded, watching Eden slip into her coat and stretch her shimmering white wings. He slid on his coat but firmly kept his wings closed.

 

Once outside Heath let his wings out,they were pure black,with slightly red tips

 

Lucas put his coat on, though also kept his closed, he wasn't in any hurry to reveal their colour.

Ashley smiled at Eden, "Nice wings, can't wait to get up there using them"

 

"They're pretty Heath..."she muttered,unleasing her own dove white ones,white a pink tint to the tips

 

Looking around Lucas decided he should really open his wings. He reluctantly opened them revealing a soft muted grey, with the odd black feather and the odd pure white feather though to his annoyance it was darker than it was light. He didn't particualy like his wings, they weren't impressive and white yet they didn't compare to Heath's black wings either.

 

"His are a nice colour"she said a little loudly,looking at Lucas

 

Eden smiled at Ashley, "Thanks...me too. I wonder where Devlin is..." she looked around and spotted him, "Oh!"

Outside, Devlin reluctantly stretched his wings. Midnight black feathers spread across the sky from his back. They were pure black, no inturruptions of any other colour. He sighed and flapped them once.

 

Ashley smiled back and looked round to follow Eden's gaze. She raised her eyebrows seeing Delvin and Heath's black wings, there was no mistaking them. However her eyes were drawn to another boy near Delvin whose wings were a paler colour, she gazed thoughtfully at him, smiling slightly.

Lucas couldn't suppress a smile as he heard the girls comment, making him feel slighly better about his wings but as he looked round he noticed Ashley looking at him. He immediatly turned around and hid his face from her, although he wasn't exactly sure why.

 

"Alrighty then...I see that everyones got there wings out...feel good? Now,give them a little flap,just so you hover."Daniel said,walking outside,Hayden trailing behind him

 

Devlin smiled and nudged Lucas, "I think you have an admirer. Why don'cha go and say hey." He caught Eden's eye and lost his smile. He frowned at her admiring of his wings. Pulling them tightly closed he tossed an arm around Lucas' shoulders.

 

"Could you all just...split into your sides...you know dark and light,just for five minutes thats all.."Daniel said

Heath glanced at the other two boys,he hadnt said two words to them and he wasnt sure if he should randomly walk up and say "Hi Im names Heath,Im evil.." Nah...not his best greeting

 

"You think so?" He asked before Heath came over, "Urgh, hi" Lucas said to Heath, unsure quite how to react to him.

 

Devlin was by the majority of the dark angels already, "So...this might get awkward."

Eden sighed and moved away from Devlin and his mournful frown.
