An angel's fight.

"Hi...Uh...Im Heath by the way..."he said crap...Felica is so much better at this sh*t

 

Devlin laughed gently, "Devlin, nice to meet'cha Heath." he stuck out his hand and touched the dragon tatto on his neck.

 

Lucas nodded, "Name's Lucas", he said by way of introduction. "Good to meet y' too"

 

He grinned and nodded

Felica smiled brightly across at him,atleast he wasnt being anti-social


"Bend your knees ever so slightly,not enough that you'll rocket up...you want to go slow the first time...unless you want to puke.."Daniel was instructing

 

Devlin winked and flapped his wings hard. Shooting him straight up. "Whoohoo!" he screamed as he shot into the sky. Feeling free.

Eden covered her mouth, she recognized that wink. "Devlin, wait...!"

 

Daniel rolled his eyes "Theres always one....well if he hurts himself,its his fault....OW!"He said rubbing the back of his head where Hayden had just hit him,"Alright...come down kid."

 

Devlin dropped to the ground after a few flips and panted, "Wow, that was fun! I think..." he paused as a wave of vertigo hit him, "Whoa..." he stumbled backwards and sat on the grass.

 

Nick stood a bit away from the other dark angels. He smirked slightly as Devlin did an epic fail, but then went back to sulking.

Maya sighed and looked around her group, trying to remember who she had met and who she hadn't.

 

"Well now that someone's got that outta his system....hover"

 

Lucas watched Delvin, now slightly more nervous he bent his knees slightly and flapped his wings, he went up into the air a few feet, gradually getting higher. He smiled as he realised he was flying until he looked down, realising how high he was. His brain automatically started thinging of the worst case senarios, which made him forget to keep flapping his wings and he plummeted down. Luckly, he managed to reopen his wings begore he hit the ground, making him glide to a slightly softer landing.

 

Maya nervously opened out her wings and flapped them, satisfied, she gave a small hop and began to fly. "Cool!" She exclaimed, landing softly and elegantly back down.

Nick gruffed as Lucas and Maya hovered, he certainly couldn't be bothered to do anything of the sort. "Stuff this.." he thought to himself, trying to sneak away without anyone noticing.

 

Eden frowned as Devlin hit the ground, she was sure he'd make a crater because of his thick skull if he hadn't so enjoyed his free flying. She noticed (Nick) a boy trying to sneak off and tugged on his arm, "Surely you're not going to let everyone else have all the fun are you?" Her shimmering wings were barely moving and yet she hovered at least four inches from the ground. Her white hair dripped water from the rain.


Devlin cuaght his breath and copied everyone else. He enjoyed flying and seeing Eden start to talk to a boy he'd never met caught his interest. He'd never been the jealous type but he had just done something completely stupid. He stroked his tattoo and settled down on the ground.

 

Nick looked at Eden and put on a fake smile . "you know what?...Absolutely!" He gruffed and took another step away.

 

Eden huffed and held his arm tightly, ice forming on it, "I'm only saying you should give it a try before heading off to who knows where. Where would you go anyway?"

 

Nick looked at the ice creeping up his arm. "Nice trick" he muttered, releasing a radioactive beam from his eyes and melting the ice, He looked back at her. "Well....if you insist..."

 

Eden smiled, "That's all I ask." She fluttered back to give him room.

 

Lucas a little shaken up from his short flight but he looked around for Delvin or the other boys he knew.

Ashley smiled as she watched Maya hover, "Here goes nothing" She muttered. She took a deep breath, bent her knees and beat her wings. She immediatly steadily went up, she automatically loved it, the sense of flying high above everything, the wind her air. It was like she was in her element. She had shut her eyes as she went up to just enjoy it, by the time she opened her eyes she was way higher than everyone else. She gasped in suprise, but unlike Lucas she did not panic, she just opened her wings and glided down. However, she did not land as she got close to the ground, she beat her wings and flew back up.

 

Nick smiled very slightly and opened up his wings, not bothering to bend his knees, he jumped and soared way up. he looked down at everyone else, they were nearly as small as ants, "Time to have some fun" He stared down at one of the benches and his eyes shined, forcing the bench to slowly rock back and forth, then suddenly go flying at Lucas.

Maya laughed at Ashley, "You look like your having fun!" She exclaimed as Ashley came down before going straight back up again.

 

"Yeah!" Ashley shouted back as she looped back in the air, "Come up and join me, it's amazing!"

Lucas watched Ashley with amazement before seeing Delvin, "Hey! You seem to be getting good at this"

 

Devlin had turned to smile and comment when he noticed the bench flying at Lucas. "Look out!" He shoved him to the ground and took the full blow of the bench as it struck his back. He fell to the ground with a painful thump.

Eden bit her lip as Nick soared out of sight. As the bench hit Devlin she felt his pain like her own and flew over to him, "Devlin!"
