An angel's fight.

Rita chuckled at Heath, then looked at Devlin. "Well, that's true.."

 

"What are you doing out here, ma'am?" Devlin touched a hand to the doorknob, wanting to go in and dance with Eden.

 

He turned back to the window

 

Eden sighed, she could feel Devlin close. "Does anybody else feel that?"

 

"The feeling we're being watched?"Felica asked

 

"Well, I was just on my way to my classroom if you must know"

Melody grinned, "So, you noticed."

 

Eden smiled, "Kinda..." she meant the warm feeling of Devlin whenever he was near. She looked to the window and saw not only Devlin but the other boys, "Um, are we supposed to be out of class yet?"

 

Felica frowned at her brother "Is he already ditching?"

He stuck his tounge out at her

She rolled her eyes "He;s so immature."

 

"It would seem Daniel let them out early.."

 

"He's in so much trouble when I tell my grandpa."She said,glaring at Heath,who was pulling weird,stupid looking faces at her

 

Eden walked over to the door and pulled it open, "Hello boys." she said sweetly.

Devlin jumped when Eden opened the door, "Whoa, h-hey Eden. Uh, we...we weren't spying on you guys or nothing, I...we..." He stammered and she laughed.

 

"Well boys, I'll be taking my leave now" Rita said as she walked off

 

"Why did you get out early?"


"Cos we're special and didnt destory the school.."

 

Eden frowned at Heath's words, "Didn't destroy the school? Devlin..."

Devlin scratched the back of his head, "What, I had control today. If the school catches fire, then you can blame me but not before." He wrapped her up in his arms and hugged her, "Why are you cold?"

 

"We could've destoried it...but its cool...we didnt."

"Heath...Dad said-Ow!"She rubbed her arm,where Heath had pinched and used his lightning to leave a mark"Heath!"

 

Eden pulled out of his arms, red faced, "I-I used my powers." She sounded ashamed that she had.

Devlin grinned, "Cool, you froze the room? Sweet, wish I could've been here to see. Hey what other powers do your friends have?" He looked to Felica.

 

"You wanna see?"she smiled grabbing Heath's arm,her hand glowed a firey red,then the hissing sound of steam rose up,when she lifted it he had a burn mark in the shape of a hand,"Pay back."she smiled

 

Devlin smiled, "Nice, another fire user. One day we'll have to see who's fire is hotter."

Eden slapped his chest, "Don't be intimidating."

 

"She's competitive...I wouldnt...."Heath said rubbing his arm

"We'll see "she said brightly

 

Devlin grinned, "Later in the year, when our powers are focused, under control."
