An angel's fight.

"She might already know dude..."he snickered looking over at the girls "sorry about your dad..."

"Nothing new for Heath..."

 

Devlin snorted, "Didn't know the dude. I'm pretty sure he wasn't important if he didn't have the courtisy to stay alive until I could form a decent memory of the guy." He glanced back at Eden and the girls, "If they bust us, I'm gonna be so pissed." He pulled on them with his arms still around their necks, "You guys, are a lot funner than my old friends at normal school."

 

"Felica wouldnt dare tell on us...1. Grandpa Toby would yell at her too...and 2. she wont want a part of this...."he shook his bottle of booze before taking a long drink from it "Still its too bad about your dad...and Eden's probably gonna kill you tomorrow if your hangover...like doesnt..."

 

"They'll probably leave us be, they'll still manage to get us in trouble if they do leave us.."

 

Devlin laughed, harder than necessary but his mind was foggy from the booze. He suddenly became serious, "So, what can we do to make this party, a party."

 

"Well....I could put this"He held up the vodka "In there."he pointed to the non-alcoholic drinks bowl "but they might suspect that...if I do...I have a stash of booze in my dorm room...I have my resources..."He grinned glancing at Daniel

 

"How 'bout we use our powers?"

 

Devlin grinned evily, "Now that, my friend is a plan. I'll bet you one drink, that fire can touch more people in this room faster than anything you can do."

 

"Not bad...go for it.."

 

Devlin's hands lit on fire and he snapped his fingers and the fire spread to the walls and floor, "Ready? Set? GO!" Fire erupted from his hands as he touched them to he wall and it spread quickly around the room.

 

"Sh*t....as awesome as that is...dont burn anything down"He laughed then clicking his own fingers,lightning seemed to race the fire

 

Eden screamed as fire spread across the walls, the sprinklers went off but seemed to have no effect on the hot burning flames.

Devlin grinned, "You got it. Nothing's going to get broken, but your pride." The fire spread faster, sizzling slightly from the sprinklers. "It's all good."

 

"Youre kidding me right?"she said gaping at the boys

"You sure 'bout that? Im just warming up"he grinned,sending sparks flying everywhere

 

Devlin snarled playfully, "Not even close. Really? Warming up? Man I thought that's all you had."

OOC: Got to go.

 

He grinned,narrowing his eyes in concentration

 

Devlin closed his eyes, feeling the fire from within as his mother would put it and brought out that dark flame. The fire leapt from walls, nearly touching people in the room.

 

"My turn" Nick stretched out an arm and saw it glow a nuclear green, then he made a punching motion and 5 streamers of Radioactive Chemicals erupted from his finger tips, making gaping holes in walls, and giant one in Maya's outfit.

Maya clenched her fist as Nick burned a hole in her outfit. "Grr! Can we fight fire with fire yet?!"

 

Devlin enjoyed Maya's attitude, "Go for it! No one's stopping you!" he shouted over the crackle of flames and laughed at the holes in the wall from Nick, "Nice man."

 

Maya growled but did nothing, she didn't want to get in trouble.

Nick grinned and focused on a stack of chairs, his eyes flashed as it suddenly began flying all over the place.

 

Eden growled at Devlin, "Dev, cut it out! This isn't like you!"

Devlin scowled, "C'mon girl, don't spoil my fun. I'm just having a little fun with my friends. You should join in! C'mon Eden, just do something wrong for once in your life." Fire licked up around the girls and he grinned.

Eden didn't like the way he was smiling. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly. The temperature in the room dropped drastically.

Devlin shivered.
