An angel's fight.

Lucas frowned, fed up of doing nothing, stood up and ran, ran so fast he was just a blur. He ran out, taking the long route, did a few laps of the place before ending up at the cafiteria, where he stopped(only a few seconds after he'd left where he was). He sighed, not noticing Maya's presence.

 

Heath,crawled out of bed,litterally crawled out of bed and slowly made his way down the corridor,rubbing his head as he did,his brain felt like it was ready to burst out of his skull

 

Lucas rubbed his head as he tried to figure out what to do, he slowly looked around the canteen as he did so. He spotted Maya and raised his eyebrow in suprise. He stared at a few long seconds, tring to figure out what to do before slowly and slightly arkwardly walking towards her.

 

Heath entered the canteen,looking tired and more than a little hung over

 

Lucas span round and saw Heath, rapidly decided it would be easier talking to him than Maya, walked over to him. "Hey, how you feeling?"

 

"Really rough..."he muttered,voice hoarse

 

Lucas nodded and thought for a second, in a blink of an eye he ran off and a second later returned with a banana milkshake in his hand, "Here have this, it'll make you feel better"

 

"Thanks but no thanks I cant drink it.."

 

Maya noticed Heath and Lucas enter the canteen, she slowly got up and walked over to them. "Morning, are you feeling okay today, Heath?" She asked, noticing the wrecked look on Heath's face.

 

"Peachy..."he said sarcastically "Wonder if Grandpa would-"


"Forget it.He wont."

 

"What? What wouldn't Mr Toby do?"

 

"Let him have the day off.."

 

"He might.....although the chances of him being in a good mood today is pretty low, considering you nearly destroyed the hall"

 

"Nahh he wont.....he sounded cheery...you know that fake everthings-ok-when-really-its-not-and-Im-mad-as-hell kind of cheer?"

 

"Trust me" She clenched her fist and thought about Nick, "I know all about it."

 

she smiled weakly

 

"You had breakfast yet?" Maya said as she sat down at the nearest table

 

she shook her head

 

"Want some?" She asked. "Just say the word and I can whip you up a 5 star meal"

 

"Sure "she smiled
