An angel's fight.

Felica went outside to get some air,the wind blowing in her hair

 

"Blade....Ah here we go!" She took out another timetable and handed it to Lucas. "Now, what class are you in first?"

 

Is this....divide going to change things now? will I be the same with my bother is he's supposed to be evil? how can they be?" she sighed heavily sitting on the wall,she could only hope she had some classes with her brother,otherwise she'd be completly alone,she noticed another group of people,not too far way

The class was beging to start,most of the kids seemed to be there already,quiet a few teachers were up the front,why was that? ad whre was Heath? he wasnt going to b lat surely....

 

Rita, Yuri, Maddie and L'arc came bursting through the class doors. "Oh, thank goodness we're not late!" Rita panted as she led them up to the front

Melody gasped, "Oh my, boys! you need to get going to the uhh, where was it again?!"

OOC: Where is the class taking place anyway?

 

ooc-Assembly hall?

Toby gave his granddaughter a tiny wave,with she returned with a small smile

 

OOC: Okay

Melody grabbed the boys and dragged them through the school and into the assembly hall, shoving them into their seats before giving Maya a quick wave and running over to join the other teachers.

 

OOC: I forgot Melody was a teacher xD

Lucas studied his timetable as he sat down, wondering what was going on. It looked like this place would take a little getting used to.
Ashley sat quietly, waiting for it to start, though her legs were swinging less noticibly.

 

Rita looked around trying to see if she could find Eliza

 

Devlin could easily see Eden sitting in the back, far from the other students. He lifted his arm and waved flashing her a bright smile.

Sorcha stood waiting for the others to join. She noticed her son brought in with another boy by Melody, "Good. Are we all here now?" Her long dress clashed with the others' clothes. She wore many rings on her fingers that sparkled in the lights and her sulfuric green eyes bore into each of the student's eyes as her gaze raked over them.

Eden smiled at Devlin and lightly waved back. She was terrified of this new school. Since her parents had died, she'd spent a lot of time with Devlin and he'd looked out for her. Making new friends was difficult for her.

 

Rita looked at Sorcha, "I think so, should we start or wait a little longer?"

 

Sorcha gave a delicate snort, "Let us begin. Anyone not here is accountable for their own actions." Sorcha took center stage, Children, half-angels, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sorcha Coran, your dark magics teacher. You have all discovered your angelic powers and thus your time here in this school will teach you to use them for your benifit. Whether you are light or dark, does not matter much in the beginning, but you will see sublte differences in each other as you grow and continue to learn all you can. Becoming a full fledged angel isn't something that happens overnight."

 

Maya noticed Nick creep in beside her as Sorcha spoke. "Are you alright?" She asked him, though, he only muttered something in reply.

Melody listened to Sorcha's speech carefully, would she have to make speeches like this in the future?

 

Sorcha went on to explain the differences in light and dark angels, "Stronger, smarter, faster. Basically, better in almost every way."

Devlin couldn't take his mother's babbling about how much better dark angels were, "I heard you married a light angel. He wasn't better than you was he? Why'd you marry him?"

Sorcha stopped and looked at her son with a slight smile, "He gave me a wonderful son who I cherish."

Devlin snorted, "Would it kill you to show that once in a while?" he said a little too loudly.

Sorcha frowned.

 

Maya gasped a little at Devlin's comment

Nick grumbled.

 

Sorcha sighed, "I'm sorry you feel that way Devlin. But would it hurt you to be a little kinder to your mother?"
Devlin glared at her, "Yeah, actually it might just hurt me. You've never been kind to me, why should I return the favor?"

Eden wondered why Devlin was picking a fight with his mother now of all times.

Sorcha narrowed her sulfuric green eyes, "You'd best watch what you say boy." Outside a wind storm had picked up with the sudden change in Sorcha's mood.

 

Rita had heard enough. "Enough!" She shouted walking over to Sorcha. "There's no need for this!!" She hissed in her ear. "Just get on with it, or someone may grass you up to the head, think of how you're reputation will plummet!"

 

Sorcha calmed immediately and smiled sweetly, "Thank you Rita. As I was saying...ah yes, finally we come to the history of the light and dark angels." She paled slightly, "Although God loved all his angels, he favored one type, the type that could whistand the light of day often. Now, dark angels can be in the light, it is not wise for them to try to harness that light. As one, by one, God's children, the dark angels fell to earth, his favorites, the light angels fell with them. For every light angel there is a dark one. Which is why over the years dark and light have sought each other out. To marry and have children or simply to enjoy eachother's company. This has not changed for thousands of years. We hope you all learn a great deal from our ancestors and remember, knowledge is power here." Sorcha concluded her speech with a gracefull bow and swept along the stage toward the other teachers, her long dress skimming the floor, "Does someone else want to go now?"

 

Rita was surprised by Sorcha's sudden mood change but shook her head

Maddie, Yuri and L'arc shook their heads also.

Melody reluctantly shook her head, she would have, if she was a fully qualified teacher, and if she knew what she was talking about, which she didn't.
