An angel's fight.

Heath slipped into the room,probably at the worst possible moment,as it had gone all quiet.


"Um...Dad?"Hayden said to Toby,who had narrowed his eyes at Heath"why dont you say something? You were one of the first to fall...right?"

"Uh...yeah thats right....I was one of the first....I fell after my cousin....though we both fell for a different reason to other angels..."Toby said

 

Maya's hand shot up. "Sir, could you please tell us what that reason was?"

 

"We ...fell in love...with a mortal girl....which wasnt aloud....but when she died,she became a angel herself,she reincarnated once in awhile..."

 

Maya's hand shot up again. "Sir, how exactly did a mortal become an angel? I read that that's impossible!"

Nick smirked. "Geek..."

 

Toby shrugged"I was on earth when It happend,though rumour up in heaven was when a child was born,some were....marked to become angel when they died..."

 

"That girl....where is she now?"

 

"Back at a reform school...we went there when we were our age....now she works there...Like most of us did"

 

Ashley listened curiously to Toby, wondering who the girl was. She had quietly come up behind Maya, she was good at not being noticed.

 

"Why didn't she go with you?"

 

"she was happy where she is."

 

"Who was she? What's her name?" Ashley spoke up, just wanting to know more.

 

"Her name's Amy, full name Ameilia."

 

Eden stood slowly. In her old school that was how they'd raised their hands, "Sir...how many other people are there like that in the world?"

Devlin nudged Lucas, "That's my girl." he said, pointing at Eden. Her white blonde hair fell to her waist and her schoolgirl dress made her look younger than she was.

 

"A few I'd Imagine...she cant be the only one."

 

Lucas nodded, "Yeah, I'll admit she is pretty" He replied to Delvin.

As she listened she wondered wh else was like that out there.

 

"Grandpa-"she blushed "whats it uh...like to fall?"

 

Sorcha's sulfur green eyes bore into him, "Yes, do explain to us. How did it feel to have our Lord's love leave you as he cast you from Heaven?" Her tone implied a deep lasting hatred of Toby and the reincarnated girl.

 

Eliza gave Sorcha a shocked and not so approving glance.

 

Sorcha tapped an elegant finger against her jawbone, "Do not give me that look. I'll remind you that my late husband was also one of the few that first fell. His experience wasn't one that he liked to remember or talk about. He kept it a secret from me!"

Devlin shot up from his seat, "That's enough Mother! I think you've probably brought that up a dozen times before. It wasn't dad's fault. You just overreacted!"

Sorcha narrowed her blazing green eyes, "Silence!" The wind picked up outside again and she stepped back into the shadows of the auditorium.

 

Nick raised his brows. "Finally, Something interesting is happening!"

Maya sighed and scowled at him.
