Kino smiled, he put his hand on her cheek. "Emotions," He looked away. "You have a weird feeling, don't you? A burning sensation, right," His hand touched where her heart was, if she still had one "here." He smiled, he didn't care if it was dumb of him to touch here there, or if he could be happy and live with himself for it. He kissed her forehead. He put his hand on hers.

 

"I've spent years building walls on top of walls made of concrete, and they all shatter like sensitive glass... all because of a kiss?" Then suddenly Cassady had a flashback of her and Angel. Angel was was sitting next to her. And she told her that love is infinite, it shouldn't be locked away, it should be expressed to everyone. "So that's what love is..."

 

Kino looked away. He didn't want to know what would happen next, his wings only covered him now, leaving her out. He was in the dark, where he always was, alone. He let tears fall out, not caring if things changed when she knew emotions, it was like he remembered, alone. Always, alone. He staggered in breaths, leaving no oxygen in his head again, leaving tears to drop on him as he was in his ball form. Alone, always. His head was hot, his body shook, his wings ached with fear. His heart was empty, like all the souls he took. Always, alone. Alone, always.

 

Cassady glanced at Kino. "Are you alright?"

 

Kino came out of his trance. "You'll leave me...you'll not have...love for me....Cassady, I..." He turned to her, he slipped by accident and landed on her lap. A thud came with it. He was flushing. A stupid mistake, a stupid mistake! He looked up at her, his eyes only, he couldn't move. He was frozen in place from this view, his heart pounded, even if he was evil, he still was after all, himself.

 

Cassady stroked his head and just looked at the sky and stars. "Pretty, aren't they?"

 

Kino didn't get it. He was there, in her lap, heart pounding. She only saw the stars, he didn't want to move so he just looked up there. "Yeah," He was afraid of losing this moment, what happened now? Did he do something wrong? Did he offend her? He wanted to find out now. "Uh...Master Cassady?" He didn't wish to use Master, but he didn't want to offend her more. "Are you...angry at me?"

 

Cassady chuckled."Nope. Why would I?" she asked.

 

Kino was taken aback, surely this was a problem, one he couldn't solve. He moved on his palms, to look at her more closely. He slipped again, and with it, he kissed her while grabbing her shoulder for support. He was in shock, but from the kiss he gave to her again, was it really him to act weak? On emotions? He knew what went wrong, he was mortal, he lost his powers, he lost his immortality, his true self. He lost his strength, the will of the immortal, he no longer was a god, but a man. He wasn't Kino The Seventh Sin, he was now, just plain old Kino.

 

"I didn't see that coming." Cassady said after they parted.

 

Kino soon felt for his back, in the dark his wings would be there, not anymore. He felt again, nothing. "Cassady...I'm...I'm not...entriely sure...but..." He panted a bit. "I think....I'm mortal." It was pain to his ears, pain to his heart, that's why he could never have feelings, he would lose immortality from such emotions, now those powers were gone, forever. He looked away, ashamed, how could he help her now when he was just human? How could he be nothing but human? He let a tear strip from his eye and never looked at her.

 

"Mortal? b-but how?" Cassady was shocked.

 

Kino kept looking away. "I'm...not suppose to," He sighed and looked at her. "Not suppose to...have emotions, besides my dark ones." He said in a whisper, barely audiable. He stared at the tree next to them. "I'm useless to you...now...I can't do much for you...being...mortal." He turned away from her, his back, in the moonlight, was without his four wings.

 

"No one's useless, powerless or not." 'I wonder what would have happened if I had told myself those same exact words years ago.'

Bic: Kino didn't listen. He held himself, he was cold. This weather made him cold, it was below freezing and he wasn't condemnd from Heaven anymore. He was shaking, roughly. "Cassady...I'm....freezing..." He tried rubbing himself, but it was too cold too move now. He didn't want to move.

 

OOC: Okay :D

Cassady held him from behind and transmitted her body heat to him.

 

Kino felt her body heat. And he felt warm, and it stung. It stung him because he was cold, stung him because he was mortal, stung him because, he wasn't the same as her. He was different than her, different than the others now. "Cassady," He looked back at her, through the corner of his eye. "Do you...do you love me?" An obscene question that he wished he could not use. He was now, distant, wanting to sleep. What if he slept now, what if he died, would he be brought into hell? Would he just be forgotten by light and darkness? He had no more answers.

 

Cassady gave it some thought. "I-I don't know, maybe." Cassady sighed. "I guess."

 

Kino just looked ahead. What made him mortal really? The emotions? Or the love he gave? He didn't know. "Cassady," He didn't look this time. "Tell me what you really think, about love with me." He didn't disappoint himself with that question, only his fate.
