Anna took another step back from Zeke. "I-I'm fine..." she said and shook her head a bit. "I'll be right back..." she said quicklt turning around. She ran back towards the trees, but accidentally slipped on the slippery edge of the bank and fell in, the cold water engulfing her and muffling her scream.

 

Hearing a splash of water, Zeke turned his head. "Anna?" he called, tentatively. "Are you alright? What are you doing?"
Slowly, he walked towards where she gone, until he saw a dark shadowy body, underneath the river water. Recognizing it as Anna, he widened his eyes and quickly rushed forward. Taking a deep breath, he leapt into the waters, his long black hair flying out behind him like a ribbon as he did. The river was like icy fingers, prying at his skin, but, ignoring this, moved his arms and legs, beginning to swim towards his queen. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he hastily swam back to the top, going back onto shore and placing her on land.
"Anna...Anna...please...speak to me..." he pleaded, breathlessly.

 

Anna coughed a bit, but lay motionless.

 

Bringing his fingers to her neck, he felt for her pulse. Her heart beat was there, faintly, softly...she was still alive. Closing his eyes, Zeke bent down and placed his lips on top of hers, beginning the process of mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

 

Anna coughed a little but lay motionless. As Zeke continued, she began to cough more and finally, she sat up, coughing as she clutched her stomach. She opened her eyes and saw Zeke all wet. "What... what happened?" she asked him, coughing a little more and looking around.

 

Moving back a strand of his wet hair, Zeke answered, "You...fell into the river...are you alright now?"
Drops of water rolled off him still, his clothes drenched and sticking to his skin uncomfortably. Anna was in the same condition as him, but with the fact that she had almost died...

 

Anna coughed a little, breathing heavily. "I think I'm fine now..." she said, brushing a wet strand of hair from her face. "Thanks to you..." she said and smiled, hugging him, embracing him tightly.

 

Zeke felt his body grow warm, just from her embrace, and he gently returned it, hugging her close. "I'm glad..." he murmured. And for once...he was...

 

Anna smiled as she kissed him gently on the lips. Then she stood up and extended her arm to him.

 

Taking her hand, he got to his feet, smiling back at her. "So...Anna..." he said, slowly, uncertain of how to begin. "...What...happened? Why did you go off alone?"

 

Anna sighed. "I was going to wait until my dizzy spells went away, but I slipped on the edge of the river..." she said.

 

"Maybe...maybe it isn't safe to be outside..." Zeke said, concerned. "Maybe...you ought to go back to the infimirary..."

 

Anna shook her head. "I don't wanna go back there..." she said. Suddenly, her head started to hurt. She put her hand to her head and closed her eyes. She kept getting images of this little girl in her head.

she suddenly clenched her head with both hands and fell to her knees as the pain grew worse.

"Anna!" Zeke exclaimed, bending close to her, placing his hand softly on her shoulder. "Anna...what's wrong?! Anna!"

Anna did not hear him. She clenched her head harder, the same pictures coming into her head over and over. Who was this girl? With each picture the pain grew worse. She hoped it would stop soon...

 

"Anna..." Zeke murmured. "Please...tell me what's wrong...!"

 

Suddenly, the pain faded and the pictures were gone. She was on her hands and knees now as she slowly opened her eyes, staring at the ground. "Was that... my shimai...?" Anna wondered.

 

"Anna...more...visions?" Zeke asked, placing his hand softly on her shoulder.
