Anime High School

"Yeah..." Anna said and smiled as she looked around. She loved to go to this place... ever since Zeke had first showed it to her she had been coming to it whenever she felt lonley or sad... and she would always smile. She didn't know what it was... but she liked it.

 

Tilting his head up, Zeke closed his eyes, just feeling the cool night breeze on his face. Exhaling softly, he suddenly frowned. Shaking his head, he re-opened his eyes, alert. Realizing he might be alarming Anna, he quickly relaxed, pasting on a smile. Still holding her hand, he began to lead her closer to the side of the lake.

 

Anna looked up at Zeke as she felt his moods quickly change. "Zeke... are you alright...? Something seems to be bugging you... would you like me to help with it...?" she asked and gently squeezed his hand.

 

"I'm fine," Zeke lied, hastily, chuckling nervously. "Really...it's just that...I'm...still apprehensive that...someone might still be after you, Anna..." He gazed into her eyes, reaching up with his left hand to caress her cheek softly. "I don't want anyone to ever hurt you..."

 

Anna hugged Zeke, holding him close to her. "It's okay..." she said. "There may be someone after me... but everything will be fine... I promise... nobody will hurt me... or you... i'll seal the demon as soon as i figure out how to do that spell again without using too much energy..." she thought for a moment and her eyes widened a bit as images of her sister flashed through her head. And I'll find out where this girl is... she thought.

 

"Your sister..." Zeke said, softly, as he held Anna's hand tighter. "She's...how important is she to you?" He closed his eyes momentarily, just waiting for Anna to respond.

 

"She's very important to me..." Anna said. "I want to meet her... I want to know someone who I am acctually related it... it isn't easy to go through life without knowing any relatives... I want to feel what it's like to have a family... but I don't know where she is or how she acts..." Anna said and sighed. "I just... I need to figure out what to do..."

OOC- sorry i had to leave last night because I got busted for being on past my bedtime... >.< lolz...

 

Zeke slowly brought his arms around Anna, bringing her close to him. "Anna...don't forget that I'm always here for you...to support you..." he said, soothingly. "Don't think about it too much...it'll worry you..."

 

A tear ran down Anna's cheek as he held her close. She knew that he would always be there for her... and that she shouldn't worry about this... but it keeps coming back to haunt her...

 

"Come on...why don't we...go for a little swim in the pond?" Zeke said, smiling comfortingly at her, hoping for an activity to keep her mind off it. "It'd be fun..."

 

Anna wiped away the tear and looked up at him, smiling. "Okay..." she said.

 

Entwining their fingers together once more, Zeke led Anna towards the pond. "Hope you don't mind our clothes getting wet?" he said, trying to ease the tension in the air.

 

"Not at all..." Anna said. She smiled as she felt the cool night breeze blowing against her face.

 

"You go in first?" Zeke said, smiling, giving her hand an affectionate squeeze.

 

"time to draw,"said Kenshin

 

Anna squeezed his hand and slowly stepped into a shallow part of the water. She was still a bit frightened from when she had fallen in last time.

 

Encircling her waist with his arms, Zeke smiled comfortingly at her, gently walking alongside her, holding her tightly to him.

 

Anna smiled calmly. She felt comfortable with Zeke there because she knew that he wouldn't let go of her... so she didn't need to be afraid of the water.

She held Zeke close to her as they stepped further into the water and smiled nervously. Her eyes suddenly widened a bit when she recieved more images of her sister inside her head. she looked down. "Shimai..." she muttered to herself.

 

"Anna..." Zeke sighed, as he brought his right hand up to caress Anna's cheek. "Just relax...think of...think of nothing..."

 

Anna looked up at Zeke, a bit sadly. "It... it just isn't that easy to forget..." Anna said. "I... I get images or her in my head frequently..." she looked down at the water. "A-And they won't go away... I don't know what to do..." she hugged Zeke tight and, surprisingly, she started to cry.
