Anime Recommendations?

id recommend one of the 80's gundam shows. but im pretty sure the kids would get mad.

 

I don't see why anyone would get mad, we hold no Gundam grudge here.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: They talk about everything with robots. Including shows, games, books, comics, etc. Skudd the Disposeable Assassin is there too, even.

Seasons 1 of 00 is fantastic. Fact.

Aw, I just started watching this last night, too. Second anime I've ever watched. *-*​

 

When in doubt, go with Berserk. The manliest anime around.

 

I never thought I would witness such a low powerlevel.

 

I have spent, say, two years trying to find an anime similar to School Days because I did not think anything else would interest me, but I've finally given up in my search. That, and I've just never been a big fan of anime but I figured I'd give it a try?​

 

What are you looking for in similarity specifically?
Also I personally love Madoka Magica with all of its deeper allusions to things (yes, I probably have horrid taste to a number of people).

 

School Days is a deconstruction so no you're never gonna find another anime like it that's not a blatant copy.

 

I liked the sex and the morbid season finale. I don't really know, lol. I am sure there are animes that have both of that in it, but none of the ones I found seemed interesting to me. Like, I've definitely found a bunch of them that had both of those in it, but it just didn't seem to interest me like I thought it would, which is why I stopped looking. I figured School Days is the only anime of that nature that I'll be into.​
