If you have not seen it yet, Grave of the Fireflies is brilliant. It was actually made by Miyazaki Ghibli but you might not have seen it, so. Sword of the Stranger
The first Fullmetal Alchemist movie was okay. Summer Wars is really fun. Kiki's Delivery Service, my personal favorite Miyazaki movie.
Grave of the Fireflies is really really really depressing. Like, I wanted to curl into a ball and cry for a week depressing. Spirited away is good My neighbor Totoro is a classic Princess Mononoke Tales from Earthsea Howl's moving Castle Castle in the Sky Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Pokemon the first Movie: Mew vs Mewtwo
No. It's more of nostalgia than anything. I remember watching the movie when I was a kid and loving it. It showed magic in a way that's really fun and creative. Being older and watching it again, this was a top notch dub for its time (granted, it's Disney, so they had the money to get good actors to be in it). The pacing was very well done and Kiki was a captivating protagonist. It's also my favorite Miyazaki films because it's the best one I have seen (there are a few that I really want to see; I saw Spirited Away and thought it was okay, and the same with Howl's Moving Castle. Okay, but not great).
