Apple or PC?

Self-explanatory. Which is better - Apple computers or PCs? Its up for debate. TRY not to have wars against one another. I can't decide so don't ask me.

 

Mac is better of course. No viruses, and it's way simpler to use. I can't use a PC to save my life... -_-

Can you at least come up with actual reasons WHY PCs are better?

I find that the people who don't like Macs are those who have yet to actually use them for more than about 20 seconds...

PC is superior to Mac as PCs can do more numerous tasks that a Mac just goes "Er... no, i'm not doing that" on.
I work on PC and Mac, the Macs have better specs than any of PCs I use and I still prefer PC.

 

I've never used MAC, always been using PCs. But I heard MACs are good too.

I used Macs because they were the computers at my primary school, and we were forever wanting to get PCs, they're just better, thats it.

 

PCs. Yes, they have viruses, but you gotta ask yourself - WHY are there no viruses for Macs? I am of the opinion that it's just not worth the trouble to try to shut down Macs. Not worth the time it would take to write the virus, simply because, for instance with the ones that control your comp, there has never been a Mac worth controlling. Yes, I have used both, and I VASTLY prefer PCs. I can use a Mac if I need to, but I would rather not. Besides, look at most of the major games made nowadays - yes some of them have Mac versions, but I have yet to see any mac versions for the vast majority of them. Plus my Sony Vegas wouldn't work on a Mac.

 

well in response the the point about viruses. i agree that it wouldnt be worth writing one for an Apple computer because it seems like the people who make viruses dont have time. my speculation is that the virus makers use Apple computers possibly and dont want to put a virus on their own computer. I use the splitting program to allow mac/PC on the same computer, bootcamp as it is called

 

IF virus writers USE macs, wouldn't that be another point against them? I mean, I wouldn't want to be associated with a law-breaking element of society... :D

In any case, I would only use a Mac often if I could also use a PC when I needed to/wanted to.

i like macs better. they come with good programs already on them including the virus protection. though programs not as good as u can buy. as said above no sony vegas is why i don't have one. and less games avalible. mostley it is people tend to be used to PC the they pick it over mac sence they dont' know how to opperate it well.

 

I don't really have a solid opinion on this matter because I haven't used a Mac for very long [excluding the times when I hog them in Best Buy], but I have to go with Macs. Just by looks, Macs far excel PCs. They have better programs [I'd chose iTunes over Windows Media Player any day], and PCs have given me so many problems over the years [Yes, I want to Allow the process that I clicked on to run]. Macs are just beautiful. :>​

PC. Better processing power,graphics, more programs, etc. If you can't figure out how to use a PC, you shouldn't even be given a computer.

 

Look, if you are a computer gamer, then PC has a much greater variety for you.
If you are a college student that needs a computer that is dependable that is easy to use and doesn't get viruses then Apple is for you.

I have both and to be honest, I am starting to prefer Apple to PC. The only shred of respect I still have for PC's are all the games that I can play on it that haven't been brought over to Mac.
