I've never used a Mac computer in my life.

PC's aren't perfect, but they get the job done for me.

I pick a side in this. I've used both, but I've found my faults with both. I have a Dell laptop I use at school that I had to buy as a college freshman, and while it's 4 years old and still kicking strong, it's been wiped three times, the battery has died twice (once within two months, even though I never let it completely die), and the first year I had it the speakers blew out when the volume was very low. And yes, the viruses. But I can blame that on the campus network because once one comp gets it, so do the others.

Now, Macs. I use them when working on the school paper. I've used them in my field study host schools because that is what the kids are learning to type with. I used them in high school ad nauseum for various projects. While I like that they are powerful and fast, I've been confused on more than one occasion because I'm so used to a PC and can't use the same hotkeys on a Mac.

So I guess I can't stick to one side. I guess I'll just say it helps to know how to use both so one is prepared for basically anything.

Macs are better. Their software is much faster (well, Leopard is much better than Vista) macs last longer and don't get as many viruses. As for gaming, I generally like to play console games, or things that do not require downloading and account making so that doesnt really bother me there.

Well, that's online. Offline, there are MANY times more games for PCs than for Macs.

True I guess. Although I have/had PCs and I still like the console games, lol.

I tried using a Delete key on a Mac.

    Didn't do shit.

    Working keys > Non-working keys.

...How would the Delete key not work...? Maybe you didn't press it... or maybe it was that particular computer.

I had both and I used the PC a lot more for writing and art and such.

I used the Mac for music programs, mixing, large in
    ternet downloads and such.

I have both Macs and PCs in my house and I like both but I find myself using PCs more often because it's the first type of computer I ever used and I'm more used to it.

I've worked with both, and my answer is: PC. The apple argues with me...literally, it argues with me. I don't know if somehow I stumbled an AI apple or something, but I'm going to work with a comp that is willing to work with me.
