I'm a mix.
I first charge at the bosses, then when I hear the beeping, I go away and heal. ​

 

Very offensive. Unless the enemy is really powerful then i attack like crazy then run/heal when they hit and go back to attack them and repeat.

 

Probably offensive. I like to button mash xD.
Then again, I do get pretty paranoid about my HP levels and heal quite a bit, so who knows.

 

I was more of a attack now, think later kinda guy. I just went straight up and pummelled who ever i was facing with the occasional omg im almost dead ,HEAL!

 

Definitely offensive. I set up the entire party to pure offense, except with healing. The only time I actually use Cure or Potions is if everyone else used up all of the items or MP and I use it on the spot.

 

Defensive, it's the only way to beat Terra, and if you are defensive already, than he's an easy boss. ;D

 

I'm probably a little bit of both. When I see that I'm low on health or magic, I get obsessive over making sure I can get it back up. But I like to button mash as well. So after my health is good and everything, I go straight back at the enemy. xD

 

Depends on bosses ..I usually just stick to offensive magic and swing when I've got no other options.

 

I'm mostly a offensive fighter, I usually go running to the enemy and don't heal until I'm about to die XD

 

Defensive in boss battles, Offensive in regular heartless battles.

 

If summoning Tink, slapping on Aeroga, and randomly parrying attacks while button mashing is considered defensive :laughing-smiley-004

Plus I am an Ether whore. A ton of Ether allows Donald to heal more, Goofy to give more, and me to use a combination of spells and special moves more. It really cuts down on boss fights when you have an infinite amount of strike raids or arcanum moves. I definitely did those two moves the entire times to beat Sephiroth in KH1 (nothing else seemed to work)

 

I tend to fight defensively, but I'm mostly a mix. I'll mess with the enemy for a while to figure out exactly how they fight, and after I do I'll avoid and parry their attacks as best as I can, while getting the most damage in possible. But yeah, I lean towards a defensive side when I fight.

I guess I'm more of a kill-things-before-they-get-a-chance kinda guy, when it comes to weak enemies. On stronger enemies, I wait for them to attack, dodge it, and attack when there open. I hardly ever use magic, 'cept for cure.

 

I think it depended on the situation. Considering the only time I was super defensive was when I knew I would probably die, or the second battle with Ursula (cheated myself through that one the first time).

But generally, I like an aggressive team, so I usually switch out Goofy. I don't really like Goofy anyway

 

I agree, when I get low on HP, that's when I start to watch out for my part members. I especially hate it when I have to wait for Donald to use cure when I really need it. I switch out goofy too, but only because I need Donald to provide curaga, not because I don't like Goofy. Plus, I like new party members like Auron with cool reaction commands like Bushido.

 

My first run through, I was all "ATTACK!!!!!!!" and didn't care about Defense or Magic (I didn't even know about the shortcut menu till AFTER I finished the game.)

But now, I use magic, Guard and some other abilities to stun the opponent, then attack. (Though, I wouldn't have been required to learn to be on the defense if Donald and Goofy actually healed me when I needed it instead of when I lost like 5 HP.)

There's no point fighting others, as the boss is the one which will deal the most damage to you.

The others won't do much.
