Dude, I think the hooded figures are a lil too cocky for their own good. Oh well, what goes around comes around right?

And I'd just like to point out that those keyblades rock! I don't have the imagination (or time) to come up with all those ideas. Great job!

CHAPTER 4!!! W000TTT!!! Oh, and the concert went well :)

~Chapter 4~

After chasing Xigbar down and, with the help of Zexion, Lexaeus, and Xaldin, Trigger Happy was once again in Xed’s custody. She walked back downstairs into the kitchen, in search of someone. She walked in, to see whom she wanted to see:

Larxene.

Larxene was sitting at the kitchen table, reading a D.N. Angel manga, and drinking some hot tea. Xed took a breath and took a step towards her.
“Larxene?†She said, hoping to get her attention. Larxene flicked her gaze up at Xed for a second before returning to her manga.
“Yeah?†She said, letting Xed know that she was halfway listening. After Xed didn’t respond, she sighed heavily and looked up completely from her book, slightly annoyed.
“What do you want?†she snapped. Xed took another breath.

How was she to word this?

“Ummm...I sort of need to ask you a question.†She started. Larxene scoffed.
“Then go ask Vexen or Zexion or somebody else.†She said cruelly. Xed frowned.
“It’s sort of…umm…a ‘girl’ question…â€Xed responded. Larxene chuckled.
“Then go ask Marluxia. He’s girly enough.†She said, looking back down at her manga, a twisted, evil smile on her face. Xed looked down at the ground.

There was silence.

“Please Larxene…†Xed said softly, “I really need to talk to you.†Larxene looked up at her, standing there, looking nervous. Something inside Larxene could tell that this was something personal she wanted to talk about, and that she should listen. Her twisted smile faded, and, much to Xed’s surprise, she closed her manga and looked up at her, giving Xed her full attention.
“What’s up?†Larxene asked, somewhat interested in what she had to say. Xed looked up at her.
“I want to know—“

“—How do I tell Xed that I like her?â€

Axel and Demyx were quiet. They really hadn’t expected this question to come up now. Nevertheless, Axel smiled.
“So, you’re sure you want to tell her that you like her?†he asked. Roxas thought a moment, and then looked at Axel.
“No, I don’t want to tell her that I like her. I want—“

“—To tell him that I love him.â€

Larxene sat there, in surprise. After Xed had confessed this, she just knew that Larxene would start laughing.

But there was just silence.

“Well?†Xed said timidly. “What do you think?â€

Axel and Demyx started laughing hysterically. Roxas’ face turned a deep red shade.
“I’m serious guys!†Roxas shouted over their laughter. “Quit laughing!!!†Axel took a breath, stifling another laugh.
“Roxas, you’re 15! What do you know about love?†he asked, trying to crack up again. Roxas narrowed his eyes.
“I know—“

“—That when someone likes someone else, they really care about each other.†Xed said. Larxene nodded, and then cocked her head.
“But Xed, you’re a Nobody. You can’t ‘feel’ love.†She said. Xed shook her head.
“I don’t believe that.†Larxene raised an eyebrow.
“And whys that?â€

“Look, what I’m feeling…it HAS to be love. I don’t know what else it could be.†Roxas said, looking at the ground. “Xed…makes me feel…†Demyx cocked his head.
“What exactly does she make you feel?†he asked. Roxas smiled.
“When I’m around her—“

“—I feel like I have a heart. A million hearts, even.†Xed said, smiling. Larxene smiled slightly. Xed’s smile quickly faded into a frown. She looked over at Larxene.
“But…how do I tell him that?â€

Axel and Demyx looked at each other. Roxas had just asked how to tell her that he loved her. But neither of them knew how to do so…

“Hey! I think I could help.â€

The three Nobodies turned to see Luxord walking into the room from outside. He smiled.
“All you have to do is look her in the eyes and say—“

“—‘Roxas, I love you.’†Larxene said simply. Xed raised an eyebrow.
“Really? It’s that simple?†she asked. Larxene nodded.
“Yep.â€
“So…†Xed said, trailing off. “How do I know if he likes me back?†Larxene smiled and nodded.
“Oh, that’s easy! If he likes you back, he’ll say so.â€

“Really? She will?†Roxas asked. Luxord nodded.
“Yep. Oh, and then, there’s one more thing she’ll do.†Roxas raised an eyebrow.
“What’s that?†Luxord smiled.

“She’ll kiss you.â€

“WHAAAAT???†Xed yelled, nearly falling over in surprise. “He’ll KISS me?†Larxene nodded calmly, apparent that she was amused by her reaction.
“Yea, you got a problem with that?†Larxene said, holding back a laugh. Xed thought a moment.

Honestly, she really did want Roxas and she to kiss…

But not so soon!

“What if she doesn’t want to kiss me? What if I’m not ready to kiss her?†Roxas asked, still surprised by Luxord’s words. Luxord put a hand on Roxas’ shoulder and sighed.
“Look Roxas, when it happens, it’ll happen! Don’t worry about it, okay?â€

Xed nodded. Larxene’s words were reassuring.
“But,†Larxene said, “If you like him as much as you say you do, then it’ll happen. So don’t rush it, and don’t push it off, got it?â€

Roxas nodded. Luxord’s words were good to hear.
“Oh, but Roxas, when you do decide to tell her, pick somewhere nice.†Demyx said. Axel nodded in agreement.
“Yeah, like the Station Tower, the outside garden, somewhere real nice, with a real nice mood.†He said. Luxord nodded as well.
“Mood helps a lot. It’ll make things go smoother.â€

Xed nodded, smiling. She chuckled slightly.
“Since when did you get so good at giving advice?†she asked. Larxene smiled and got up from her chair.
“Hey, you think you’re the only one who’s ever loved someone before?†she replied. Her smile faded into a half-hearted frown. “Just no telling anyone, or you’re dead.†Xed nodded.
“Gotcha.†Larxene then went to walk out of the kitchen, and up to her room.

“Larxene?â€

She turned around to face Xed. Xed smiled shyly.

“Thanks. A lot.†She said gratefully. Larxene couldn’t stop the small smile spreading on her face.

“Anytime, kid.â€

Roxas sat down on the sofa. After thanking the three of them for their help, Axel, Demyx, and Luxord went their separate ways. Roxas sighed.

++ They knew what they had to do.

The first figure was standing outside once again, in the cold, still night. The second figure walked up to them.
“Is it…?†They said, questioningly. The first figure nodded.
“It is…â€

The first figure then took off their cloak, revealing their new transformed figure. They handed their cloak to the second figure. They then placed a light kiss upon the other figure’s lips, and smiled deviously.

“It’s time, my Dear. The moment we’ve been waiting for.†The second figure smiled just as evilly.

“By ‘we’, you mean ‘you’, am I right?†The other figure nodded.

“Exactly.â€
