Bleach: Aftermath

Oh look. Another Bleach RP. xD I really wanted to make one. The story here is about what you'd expect from an RP based off a series.

Intro

Aizen had been defeated nearly a year ago and things have finally calmed down. Although hollows continue to appear in the world of the living, without the Espada and traitors to the Soul Society around, the 13 Court Guard Squad has been more than enough to handle them. As such, Ichigo(much to Rukia’s displeasure) took a break from his duties as a Soul Reaper and took a vacation. The thing is, nobody had given much thought to Aizen’s plans. He had not thought that he would lose. He created many Arrancar to use as his personal army to fight the Soul Society. Although the Espada may be dead, some of the new Arrancar are just as powerful as the old ones. Aizen had been the one to give them their powers and they knew of this when they awoke from their dormant state. As such, they want to continue on with his plan to conquer the Soul Society.
As time passes, hollow attacks become more frequent and a great number of them show up at one time. The hollows themselves are usually stronger than the average batch. Menos sightings have become even more common…

Rules

1. No Godmodding or Powerplaying.
2. Keep this RP around “PG-13“.
3. No, you may not create a Soul Reaper or human with hollow powers.
4. I don’t want to see EVERYONE start out with Bankai. If you wish to become a Captain, you may do so. If you want to put some info in the Bankai section even if your character has not learnt it, then you may do so.
5. Aizen and his Espada are dead. D8< Plus there will be no more Espada since the term and ranking was made by Aizen. If you want to be an Arrancar, you can make your character as strong as the Espada.
6. Please use good grammar.
7. You can have up to four characters. I’d like to see some Arrancar from you people. I’m encouraging you people to use/make four characters. ^^
8. Be active. And try to be creative with Zanpakuto.
9. If you don’t feel creative enough to make four characters, feel free to pick characters off the list. =p
10. If you're an Arrancar, feel free to declare yourself the "leader of the pack" during the RP. Just don't expect everyone to automatically call you master. >8D

Bio: Ever since becoming a Soul Reaper, Arashi had wanted to become a captain as soon as possible. The easiest way was obviously to achieve Bankai. So, not long after he had graduated from the academy, he had learnt Bankai. He thought it over and decided that he needed to postpone his dreams because of his inexperience in just about every aspect of combat. Over the years, he grew more powerful and had to learn to control his captain-level spiritual pressure in order to continue his training without alerting anyone from his squad that he was capable of even becoming a captain. Soon after the defeat of Aizen and his Espada, Arashi figured that he was truly ready to become a captain and much to his current squad’s surprise, became their captain.
Personality: Very unpredictable. Arashi likes watching things play out and tends to break a rule or two to make things interesting. The only time he chooses to get involved with lower ranking Soul Reapers is when one asks for his assistance. Although he be completely silent at times, he has been known to be rude to most of the other captains, showing respect to only Shunsui and Jushiro…and of course the head captain.

Zanpakuto name: Zasetsu

Zanpakuto Powers: Zasetsu draws power from the light of the surrounding area to unleash powerful attacks. Zasetsu can surround an opponent in a sphere of light to crush them. Lastly, the zanpakuto can allow the user to turn invisible for short periods of time.
Bankai Name/Powers/Form: Tenzasetsu. It sucks in any form of light, even the absence of it. It heightens the user’s own power. Other: Before becoming a captain, Arashi had found himself transferred to every squad and has developed both a unique set of talents and an odd personality...although he admits that he is probably the worst at Kido among the other captains other than Zaraki.

Bio: When she entered the academy, she didn’t really know which squad she thought she’d fit best in. She figured which ever squad she was going to be put in, she’d have to deal with it and accept it. While in the academy, she was quite good at kido but prefer hand to hand combat. Her flash step was almost the same as Soi Fon’s, but once she graduated from the academy, she was put in Squad 2 but then changed to Squad 11.
Personality: A bit playful, but knows when to be serious. At first, she was a bit of a pacifist, but eventually became tolerant of fighting and began to enjoy it a little.

Zanpakuto name: Haraguchi
Zanpakuto Shikai Appearance and Command: Has a chain at the end that she uses to throw it and bring back. Tear them apart.
Zanpakuto Powers: When she uses the chain to spin the weapon, the entire scythe glows to a bright red. When she throws it, the strength of the scythe is about 5 times stronger than if she weren't to spin it.

Personality: Kind-hearted like Nel but when needed, she can be extremely dangerous. Very immature and likes to play around in fights.
Zanpakuto name: Vaporiza
Release Form and Powers[Up to three] : Claw out (release). In her release state, Miku takes the form of a cat, a bit simliar to Grimmjow, but also has wings. She still has her Zanpakuto in hand but has the ability to multiply it and make it invisible.
Other: Likes animal and can get easily distracted at times.

Bio: A standard Soul Reaper who joined the 13 Court Guard Squads after Aizen's recent defeat and was recommended to Squad 11 for his excelling in swordsmanship and flash step but he moved to Squad 5 out of choice despite his terrible kido as he moved in when the new captain was in charge however, people still mutter about the previous Captain and the Lieutenant of Squad 5 as he wants to prove that Squad 5 may of had a bad history because of Aizen, it could change.
Personality: Kind Hearted and Determined when he sets a goal, he aims to complete it

Zanpakuto Powers: [Up to three] Ugetsu draws power from the wind around and is able to produce a green spiritual slash (Much like Getsusga Tenshou), secondly, by swing around Ugetsu in a full circle, he creates tiny green wind spheres and force them to explode, creating both an offensive and defensive move and lastly, he is able to use the wind to create a much more quicker flash step in the procress, almost leaving a clone behind him.
Bankai Powers/Form: [Only if your character will become a Captain or if you wish to learn it later in the RP] Name - Usari Ugetsu Form- His soul reaper clothing takes a big change as he wear a long black jacket almost touching the ground as it connected by his midriff by as his pants become more tighter around his legs as his sandals remain the same

Bio: Not a normal born Soul Reaper. Sarina is the 1st half of one person. Originally she was a human but she was possessed by a hollow and later on ate a spirit candy which gave her the spirit of a soul reaper. During battle an unknown soul reaper tore her body apart turning her into two people. Each contains the other half of the original Sarina.
Personality: Kind, caring, and curious. She tends to trip over her own feet but during battle she is more focused and a force to be reckoned with.

"How long have you been a Soul Reaper?"

That was the first of a long line of questions Arashi had been asked from the reporter. He sighed and shrugged slightly, not wanting to answer anything uninteresting. "Longer than most of the captains."

"Can I see your Shikai? Your Bankai?" The reporter seemed pretty stupid, asking a captain to reveal his Zanpakuto was dangerous.

"You're asking the wrong questions." Arashi muttered, wishing he had taken a different route to his office. He had been trying to avoid the reporters from the Seireitei Newspaper.

"My apologies Captain Zanshou. What do you have to say about your fellow captains?"

Now that question was worth answering in Arashi's eyes. "Alright, starting from the 13th Squad, Jushiro has great hair." He paused and laughed before continuing. "Mayuri seems like one of those captains who would be easy to pick on...until he poisons your drink. Zaraki is reminds me of some sort of animal. A lion perhaps? Toshiro is just...young. Shunshui is a great person and possibly the only one who can hold more alcohol than me. Sajin Komamura needs to play fetch with me." Arashi took in deep breath, thinking of who was next in his list. "Byakuya is a good guy deep down but really needs to lighten up once in awhile. I think someone should give that guy a hug. Then there's Retsu..." Arashi whistled. "I think you get the idea." The reporter laughed. "Soifon is...well, eh. I think she's not as impressive as the others. Head Captain is just old...I wonder if he'll retire." Arashi then waved slightly towards the reporter and vanished, not wanting to say anything else.

It's like everyone wants to know where the squad is headed! Just because Aizen lead this squad doesn't mean that we're all like him. He sighed out and looked around, having flash stepped to his own office. "I'd honestly rather be out fighting Hollows..." He stared at a pile of papers on his desk. "...Damn..."

 

Arashi stared at his the pile of papers on his desk for another moment before beginning to seperate them into two piles. Things that needed his signature and reports that needed to be turned in. Surprisingly enough, it cut things in half. "Now I'll just have to sign some papers and make someone else take care of the other stuff." He clapped his hands together and let out a deep breath. Now what?{/I] He lowered his head and wondered what he had scheduled for the day. He had been captain for less than a week but had not done any training sessions with his squad. He didn't like the idea of it though. Arashi prefered one on one training and felt as if it would be boring to watch the others...after all, none of them knew Bankai and there were no Espada left to fight. At least Aizen gave the Soul Society something to do. He had been assigning his squad many pointless assignments, mainly including the reconstruction of the damaged buildings in the Soul Society. Annoyed, Arashi left his office and figured it was about time he at saw the rest of his squad. Very few of them had seen him and probably disliked the idea of him even being around.

Jushiro Ukitake watched as a frustrated Soul Reaper paced back and forth, muttering something about Zanshou, the new captain. It must be someone trying to get an interview. Captain Zanshou seems to be impossible to find. Especially sense I can't even sense his spiritual pressure. Even when I saw his Bankai... His thoughts trailed off as he continued walking. The Soul Society had been rather quiet the past few days. The only interesting thing that had happened was the promotion of a new captain. Jushiro stretched his arms out, tired from his walk. Although his illness had not shown up in awhile, he grew weary quickly. He looked around and headed over to a nearby bench to take some rest, glad to have some quiet since his two 3rd seats were not around. "I wonder if the new captain likes me. I remember him having a drink with Shunsui a few days ago..." He leaned back and closed his eyes, beginning to doubt that things would stay peaceful for long.

 

Ooc: Moshimoshi, you can have Toshiro.
Ruon, there is no squad 25. XD ...And you might want to elaborate on your characters' powers/Zanpakuto. Your Soul Reaper is bit young to actually have Bankai. 8D8 Although you can leave the name there.

Bic: Arashi, like any other captain was watching and waiting for the right moment to speak. When Shuji let go of the other Soul Reaper, he finally let his presence be known since he knew the others could not even sense his spiritual pressure. "Thank you for your words of confidence." He directed to Shuji before looking around the barracks. Arashi rolled his shoulders and popped his neck before speaking again. "I'm not sure if I should care what any of you think of me, but just remember this...As long as I am your captain, all my actions are for the good of this squad and I expect you all to follow my orders." He paused and took another look around, trying to memorize the faces present. "So! Who's up for a little game in the world of the living?"

Jushiro stood up and yawned loudly, feeling much better. He walked forward and it was only a few steps before a Soul Reaper bumped into him. "Hm?" He looked down, seeing the reporter from before on the ground trying to collect his fallen papers.

"Watch were you're going, you je-" He stopped when he saw who he was speaking to. "C-captain Ukitake! Please forgive me!"

Jushiro smiled a little and watched as the reporter stood up quickly with his papers in hand. "It's alright. Just keep your temper under control. If would have been a mess if I had been Captain Kuchiki." He took a step to the side and tried walking around the reporter but he was stopped once more.

"Sir! I'm so lucky to have run into two captains. Could I get an interview? ...I'll...uh...let you see what Captain Zanshou said about you!" He eagerly held out a notepad.

Curious, Jushiro looked through Arashi's comments on the other captains, laughing a little at one concerning Retsu. "So he likes my hair? Flattering. ...Excuse me but I have business to take care of. Bye." Jushiro waved slightly before using flash step to get away from the reporter, he too did not want to be interviewed...besides, his feeling of unease was becoming stronger.
