Bleach: Rise of a New Generation

Kaori opened her eyes and looked down at the grass.She raised her head to look at the water. Finally I can spend time to myself. She stood up and walked to the edge of the river.She looked down,seeing her reflection.

 

..Now is as good a time as ever..hope your not weak still,kid..Teren thought.Extending his right arm and calling upon his bow.He took aim at Kaori as he created an arrow.He aimed for just above her shoulderblade.

He fired it without warning.

 

Kaori quickly turned around and saw the arrow heading towards her.She leaned back and quickly changed clothes.She stood up and took out her sword.She looked around and spotted Teren. "Are you insane?!You do know I'm still not in a condition to fight!"

 

"Man..can't you Soul Reapers heal faster?"Teren muttered,walking down toward her and dismissing her bow.He stared at her sword and glared at her."..Put that thing away if you know what's good for you..unless you want to kill me..one of the last of my kind.I bet your buddies would love that."

 

"I'm not a Soul Reaper!" Kaori said putting her sword away.She was frustrated enough with her injury,she didn't want anyone to get on her case.

 

"Well whatever you are..sheesh.You've really got to stop having people bail you out all the time anyway."Teren muttered,dismissing his bow and checking her side again."..If your injured,go home and rest like a smart person would do."

 

Kaori turned around to face the water. "I feel perfectly fine here.And I wasn't even in danger.If I want to be alone then let me be alone.I'm tired of people getting on my case."

 

"Hey,I'm only watching out for you,your an easy meal for a Hollow..don't snap at me."Teren said angrily,putting his hands in his coat pockets and glaring at her back.

 

"Easy?!I can defend myself.I don't always like fighting so that's the reason why I don't tend fight back when a Hollow shows up." Kaori looked at Teren and shook her head.She turned around and started walking away.

 

"..So,since I know where you live..I should kill your mom,knowing you won't fight back."Teren muttered,completely serious about this.

 

Kaori stopped and had her back facing Teren. "You know,the only time I would fight back is when someone dares to hurt those close to me!You dare to come near my family,I will kill you myself!"

"...."Teren fought to keep a serious face."....If you can catch me."he finished,suddenly flashstepping back toward Kaori's home,holding a straight face.

 

Kaori turned around to see Teren wasn't there anymore.She narrowed her eyes and headed to her house.She ignored the pain on her side.

Once she got to her house,she saw Teren there.She unsheathed her sword and jumped towards Teren.

 

Teren sidestepped with ease,finding that she was slower and weaker in many ways due to her injury."Fight harder..or mommy dies.."he muttered.

 

Kaori was on her knees.She quickly stood up and swung her sword at Teren's head.She didn't care what she hit right now.

 

He leaned back slightly,avoiding it by an inch.It was clear he wasn't intending to fight back.He wanted to see if she could fight past her pain and be a true warrior.

 

Kaori jumped back and put her hand on the tip of her blade.She slid her hand down to handle.The blade of her sword disappeared then the handle.She jumped up and swung both of her hands downward.A few swords slightly appeared and headed towards Teren.

 

Seeing her dismiss her blade and throw her hands down,Teren suspected that it was a special ability.Hearing the wind being disturbed by something,he looked up to find swords coming down on him.He held still,wanting to see if she would kill him.

 

Kentaro came running from the side.He jumped up and knocked Kaori out.The swords disappeared and Kaori fell to the ground,unconscious.Kentaro landed in front of Teren.He looked at Kaori then at Teren.

 

Teren sighed once Kentaro came into the picture.He would have dodged at the last second..but still,he wanted to see if she had the power to be strong.He rolled his eyes at Kentaro."..Clearly you weren't worried about me..anyway,why did you stop her.."?
