Bleach: Rise of a New Generation

Sachi laid on a bed in a room at the medical center. It was a quiet room in the medical center where a patient could easily recover. A blanket covered her body up to her neck, and her arms laid out on top of the covers. Her eyes were closed, but she wasn't unconscious, just resting. Her head was also covered in a bandage.

Unohana turned to Kori, the usual calm expression was on her face. "I'm glad you brought her as quickly as you could. The worse part of the crisis is now over."

 

"That's good." he said. "Can I see her?"

 

Unohana smiled kindly and opened the door to Sachi's room. "Don't be surprise if she suddenly falls asleep while speaking." She then turned and walked down the hallway.

Sachi heard the door open and opened her eyes. Boy she didn't feel good...

 

"Thanks" he said, walking in. "Sachi?" he asked.

 

Sachi turned her head and saw Kori. She smiled weakly. "Hi..."

 

"I'm glad you're alright." he said, smiling back.

 

Sachi sighed out quietly. "Same here..." She looked up at the ceiling. "I feel so stupid... I should've saw that coming..."

 

"You had no idea. None of us did. Luckily, you did the right thing and protected Kaori." he said.

 

Sachi glanced over at Kori. "How is she? Is everybody else okay?"

 

"They are fine." he said. "The hollow left after it got you and we got it back."

 

Sachi relaxed. "That's a relief..." She lifted up her bandaged arm. "I feel like a wrapped up mummy right now..." Her legs and chest were also wrapped in bandages.

 

He chuckled and sighed. "If only I was able to go Bankai." he said. "I would have killed it before anything had happened. I know I was close to it too."

 

Sachi looked at Kori. "You're spiritual energy is getting stronger. You'll get it sooner then you think." Then she gave a feeble smile. "Guarantee it."

 

"Thanks." he said. "I guess I need more training."

 

Sachi chuckled quietly. "Probably..." She laid her head back on the pillow. "Looks like I'm going to be stuck here a while..." She looked down and sighed. "Hopefully nothing big comes up while I'm here."

 

Kentaro was walking around town,back in his gigai. "Maybe I should return to Soul Society and see how Sachi is doing."

 

"I'm sure the other's will be able to handle it." he said. "Just get some rest."

 

Sachi nodded her head slowly. "Okay... tell the others I said hi for me... especially Taori."

 

"I'll call Kentaro and let him know." he said, taking out his phone and dialing his number.

 

Sachi slowly closed her eyes to let them rest for a bit. Her whole body felt like she was crushed under boulders and then barely dragged out of them.

Nicole walked from the grocery store with her new art supplies. She clutched the bag tightly in her hand as she was heading back home. It was somewhat late, but she knew her parents wouldn't mind.
