"She...can see us?" Kentaro asked. He walked over to Sachi and Kori. "Well the Squad 4 Soul Reapers should still be around.We could call them and tell them that Kori needs to be treated."

 

Nicole stopped when another one showed up. This was all so overwhelming for her. She watched from a distance.

Sachi nodded her head and quickly sent a message. "They should be on their way," she said, closing the lid of the cell phone.

 

Kentaro nodded and looked over at Nicole. He crossed his arms and took a few steps towards her. "So,you can see us after all."

 

Nicole took one, small half step back. Then she slowly nodded her head. "Yes..."

The medical soul reapers suddenly appear and stepped into action. The girl and the leader of the small group quickly examined Kori.

 

"There's no need to be afraid.I'm sure you're wondering what's going on.Am I correct?" Kentaro asked.

 

Nicole stood up straight, slowly trusting the one in front of her. She nodded her head again.

 

Kentaro took a deep breath. "Kori,Sachi and I are known as Soul Reapers.Or Death Gods.We came here,to the Human World, to protect humans from monsters known as Hollows.I'm sure you've at least seen one,right?" Kentaro explained.

 

Nicole was listening carefully to everything Kentaro was say. "Yeah..."

 

"Well those monster devour human souls.And it's our duty to protect human souls and humans as well.And there are people that have high spiritual energy.Those with high spiritual energy are able to see Soul Reapers and Hollows.And that's what you have." Kentaro continued to explain.

 

Nicole looked down a little. "So... that's why I can see you... and the hollows. It sort of makes sense now."

 

"Pretty much.And I don't know if you know a girl named Kaori,but she's in the same situation as you.But she's already okay with it and her powers have already awaken." Kentaro said.

 

Nicole really didn't know what to think. "I have... hidden powers?" It sounded like something from a fiction book to her.

 

"Yes.Those with high spiritual energy have powers hidden inside them.It just takes something big for those powers to be release." Kentaro said.

 

"Hm..." Nicole was thinking over everything Kentaro told her. It didn't seem real. Why her?

The medical soul reapers finished their work on Kori. "He should be fine," the soul reaper said to Sachi.

Sachi nodded her head. "Thank you."

The soon disappeared from the area.

 

"Well,once Kaori is conscious you can ask her yourself everything I just told you." Kentaro said.

 

Nicole nodded her head slowly. "Thank you... uh..." she didn't know his name.

 

"Kentaro Matsumoto." Kentaro said.

 

She bowed respectfully. "Nice to meet you, Kentaro." She stood upright. "Thanks for the explanation."

Sachi lifted up Kori's unconscious body on her shoulders.

 

"Sure.And you are?" Kentaro asked.

 

Daisuke finally came to his sences and came over, "Do you want me to carry him instead?", he asked
