Kaori looked at the cart of food. "You could have the food.I'm not hungry." she told Kori.

Kentaro had stopped running and was laying down on the sand,on his back,panting. "It doesn't even look as if I've gotten closer!" he shouted to himself.

Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto was walking down the same hall as Sachi.She looked ahead to see Sachi,leaving the Captain's office. "Sachi!" she called.

 

"I don't need food right now." he said. "If I get hungry, that's when you run."

 

"How am I going to run?I'm in a cell." Kaori said looking off somewhere else.

 

"I'm just saying. If I get hungry, then I become a hollow." he said.

 

Kaori looked at Kori.She quietly sighed and looked out the window,looking at the moon,again.

Kentaro finally caught his breath and turned over on his stomach.He looked at Las Noches. "How am I supposed to get there?"

 

"Look." he whispered. "He left to door open a bit."

 

Kaori turned around.She looked at the door.She turned her head somewhere else.She knew if she would attempt to escape,she would end up being killed.Kaori put one of her arms down to her side while the other held it. "You can go if you want.But....I'm going to stay here."

 

"I'm not going to leave you behind." he said. "Why do you want to stay here?"

Sachi's head snapped up and looked over to see Rangiku. She walked over to her and bowed respectfully. "Yes Lieutenant?" She stood upright again.

 

Rangiku smiled. "Why are you back?I thought you were going to stay in the World of the Living for a while.Did something happen?"

Kaori turned around.She stood in the spot where the moonlight would come through the window."I just can't go." Kaori said shaking her head. "Just go.I'll be fine."

 

Sachi looked at the older woman for a moment and then sighed out. She quickly explained the dual between Kori and Kentaro over Kaori, and then briefly what happened after that. "By now, Kentaro is probably already rescuing Kaori and Kori..." She left out her own feelings, what her true thoughts were. How she felt like she was no good soul reaper for the team anymore.

 

"I'm not going to leave you." he said.

 

Rangiku rubbed the back of her neck. "Well,falling for a human is illegal.But I guess it's something that would end up happening if a Soul Reaper gets too attached to a human." Rangiku looked down at Sachi. "It seems like this girl,Kaori,sure is a big deal to them." She then smiled. "You shouldn't feel terrible about yourself.So you weren't able to assist your friends when they needed help.You shouldn't beat yourself up.It happens to all of us.And you just became a Soul Reaper.That's how we all felt when we first joined.As if we couldn't do anything for our team.A Soul Reaper has pride.And that is something everyone must respect."

"Just go!I'll be fine!" Kaori shouted.

 

Sachi looked downward, staying silent for a few moments. Then she finally spoke. "Understood... thank you Rangiku..."

 

"No." he said, sitting down. "I'm not going without you. I'm not going to let them take you and do what they want with you."

 

Rangiku nodded and smiled. "I'm here to help." She turned around to leave but then stopped.She walked over to Sachi and bent down to whisper something in her ear. "By the way,I think you should head to Hueco Mundo to help Kentaro.One man alone can't take on all those Arrancar. He's going to need help.But if you do leave,don't tell the Captain." Rangiku stood up straight and waved bye. "He'll get mad if he found out." She turned back around and left.

"I'll be fine!I can defend myself!" Kaori shouted.

 

"You don't understand." he said. "I can't leave you because I love you. I know I'm not supposed to, but I do."

 

Sachi looked up in shocked. She was dumbfounded for a second. She folded her arms, thinking about her options. She sighed and turned the opposite direction to head to her living quarters. Call me crazy, but she's right... She made up her mind right on the spot.

 

Kaori squeezed her arm. "Kori,just leave!Even if you do love me,I can handle things on my own!Worry about yourself!Your a Soul Reaper!And if you can't love then don't!"

Kentaro stood up and began to walk. "This is going to take me forever." He suddenly felt a familiar spiritual pressure.He turned around to see Hyosake.Kentaro jumped away and put his hand on the handle of his zanpakuto.

"I knew you would come." Hyosake said grinning.

OOC: Oh so sad.By the way,I'm going to be logging off like in 6 or 8 mins.

 

OOC: Okay.

BIC: Kori sighed. "I know how good you are." he said. "I'm barely a match for one of these Arrancar. You've recently awakened and haven't realized your full potential. I don't want to lose you. Do you know what happened when I thought you had died? I got so angry that I turned into a full hollow. I was lucky to revert back before Kentaro killed me."
