    Need... new... anime...

I'm bored to friggin' death and I need a fresh new anime to pass the time.

    Preferably sci-fi and/or ecchi.

Find one that catches your eye.

Or go and watch fifteen episodes of Teletubbies. If you can't satisfy your thirst for new anime, you can destroy it with hatred and anger for a kids show.

I suggest Inuyasha or Death Note. Death Note is a great, thought-through mystery/sci-fi that puts the antagonist in the place of the protagonist. You might already know, but Light Yagami is an ace student who is bored out of his mind. He finds a book that will kill the human whose name is written in it that is called a Death Note. He becomes obsessed with a vision of a new world where he is a god, and a race against detective L begins. To me, it's the best anime ever.

Inuyasha is one I started watching yesterday. It could never live up to Death Note: Nothing will in my eyes. It is about a girl who falls in a shrine because of a demon catepillar, which rips a sacred jewel in her hip not unlike Kikyo's, the archer who died after shooting the half dog demon half human Inuyasha, pinning him to a tree with an arrow in ancient Japan. Now, she learns that the jewel will put a demon at its full power, and that's all I'll say.

Xaale, are you aware how old and overused those series are?

Eflen Lied. Blood, boobs and mad scientists.

Seems to fit both Eechi and Sci-Fi.

Seen both. Loved Death Note, Inuyasha's good, but it's too long.

^Saki: No. No headphones, therefore, no(t too much) ecchi.

^Demitryx: I've seen the "Most disturbing anime scene" thread at Anime News Network. Not such a good idea.

I blame the fangirls for making it so.

My edit was made too late.

^Saki: No. No headphones, therefore, no(t too much) ecchi.(referring to Sayounara, Zetsubou-Sensei)

^Demitryx: I've seen the "Most disturbing anime scene" thread at Anime News Network. Not such a good idea.(referring to Elfen Lied)

You mean those first few minutes when [SPOILERS] Lucy escapes naked and starts killing all of those people and rips that girl's head off? [/SPOILERS]

Meh, personally I felt rather let down by it if that's the most "disturbing" anime scene. Wasn't that disturbing. Worst thing about it was that thing she had on her head, and that I think was because it made her look like a pyramid head.

Well, I don't think I heard about that.

But, uh, [SPOILERS]#1: Kids killing a puppy.
#2: A litle girl gets her head ripped off.
#3: Ummm... RAPE. Or implied, anyway.
#4: A lot of other stuff.
    [/SPOILERS]

1# I thought was rather saddening that a child could be so cruel
2# that happens to a lot of people in it
3# I wasn't quite sure exactly what was implied with her O_o

The post I made with the earlier spoilers were in the First Episode/Chapter in the Manga.

    Unless the anime is different.

Kidding. You would be horrified from it.

Why do people act as if it's really disturbing? I think it's not so bad.
