Satoshi went limp in Gaara's arms. Her chest moved up and down in quick, shallow breaths.

Sakura came instantly when she heard her name. "How bad is it?"

Rukia put her book down and got off her bed. She went to her door and opened it. "About what?"

 

"Multiple Kunai Wounds in the back,I dont know how deep they are!"Gaara said quickly,setting Satoshi down on the couch,Face Down,but head turned to the side so she could breath easier.

"hinata-chan!"Naruto called as he stepped inside his home.

A weak,but still full for force Chidori built up in his hand.Barely making a sound,Sasuke pulled his hand up and slapped Rukia HARD across the face,causing her to lose balance and hit the wall.Sasuke drew his sword and put it against her neck while placing his foot on her chest."..You better tell me EVERYTHING..I wont be kept in the dakr any longer..you made me look like a fool out there..''he muttered,Sharingan still activated.

 

Rukia shut her eyes and grit her teeth. "You're not getting anything out of me that way."

Sakura set to work right away. "They're deep..." She murmured. "Tell me what happened."

Hinata came out of the kitchen, smiling when she saw Naruto. "Are you okay? What happened?"

 

Gaara and Naruto quickly explained what had happened during the mission.

Sasuke began running the sharp edge of his sword across her neck."..I will spill your blood all over this room..now you better tell me everything you know..''he threatened.

OOC: He'll do it Rukia,he's crazy!

 

Rukia glared at Sasuke, forcing herself to keep a straight face. "Let me go and I might tell you."

Sakura had healed two of the three kunai wounds by the time Gaara finished. "... I don't see when it happened then... Unless it was when that smoke went off..." She muttered to herself. To Gaara she said, "She's under drug induced fever. I can't do anything about it."

Hinata put a finger to her lips nervously. "I hope she'll be okay..."

 

"......"Sasuke moved his foot and holstered his sword."..Hurry the hell up..''

Naruto nodded."We can go check on her later,Sakura chan will take good care of her!"

"What exactly is this drug doing to her?"Gaara asked.

 

"Simply put: it's breaking down the immune system. Eventually, it will lead to death." Sakura answered, working on the last wound. "The most I can do is slow it down. But I don't know how much it will hurt her if I try."

Rukia went to her bed, rubbing her neck. "What did I tell you last?"

Hinata nodded. "I wasn't expecting you back for a while. I made some ramen but I burnt the bottom..."

 

"And im just suppose to sit here and watch her die?..isnt there something I can do?"Gaara asked

"Uchiha and Senju,and you left off at Madara and his brothers eyes..''Sasuke mumbled

Naruto frowned.".Burnt..the bottom?..''he hung his head.

 

"I don't know..." Sakura replied.

Satoshi's eyes flickered open. She opened her mouth to try to speak but started coughing instead.

Rukia put her hands in her lap. "After the truce was made between the Uchiha and Senju, they made a pact with the Land of Fire, which wanted their help in controlling their territory. They began the system of one village per country. Other's followed suite and little by little, the fighting stopped. But there was dispute over the position of Hokage. Of course, Hashirama got the position. Everyone chose him. Except Madara. To him, it was obvious that the Uchiha were losing their suppremacy. He wanted to make sure that the Uchiha were always on top, so he chose to oppose Hashirama. He tried to start a rebellion, but no one followed. In his eyes, he was betrayed. He was told her was greedy and wanted only power. People said that he took his brother's eyes to save his own life.... He asked them: 'What man would willing harm his brother'?"

 

Sasuke nodded,wanting her to continue.

Naruto picked Hinata up by the waist and carried her to the kitchen."Show me the ramen..''

Gaara looked at Satoshi silently,he didnt know what to say,or what to do.

 

Sakura put her hand on Satoshi's forehead.

Satoshi calmed, closing her eyes again. "Where am I?" She asked hoarsely. "Gaara.... Where's Gaara...? Is he okay...? Tell me he's okay."

Sakura looked at Gaara, expecting him to answer.

Hinata giggled and bit and squirmed from Naruto's hold. She took the cooled pot off the heater, tiping it just enough so that Naruto could see. "It's just the bottom bit that I messed up on."

Rukia hesitated. "He left the village, feeling betrayed by everyone. Wanting revenge... he challenged Konoha with the Kyuubi. He was defeated by Hashirama in the place now known as The Valley of The End." She looked at Sasuke, half expecting him to realize that's where he and Naruto had had their fight when they were younger. She continued, "Everyone thought he died there. And he was eventually forgotten. Hashirama's younger brother took the position of Hokage. He wanted to make sure that another Uchiha traitor wouldn't rise up, so he gave them a special position as a sign of trust. The police. But it's true purpose was to distance the Uchiha from governing the village and to keep them under surveillance. Some Uchiha realized what was going on and they rebelled against the Hokage. Time passed and the Senju held the most power. The Kyuubi attacked again at that time. The Uchiha are the only ones who can control the Kyuubi so the leaders of Konoha thought that it was their doing. They had nothing to do with it this time. Konoha's leaders thought that another rebellion was starting. So they made sure that ANBU were watching them at all times. The Uchiha's were practically separated from the rest of the village."

 

"What abilities did Hashirama have?"Sasuke asked

Naruto frowned as he saw the result of Hinata's cooking."..Im gonna order out for a while..''he muttered,hanging his head again.

"Im right here..''GGaara said,stepping forward so that Satoshi had a clear view of him

Satoshi opened her eyes. "They said... they said you were..." Tears formed in her eyes. "I'm so glad you're okay... I did what I could... I just wasn't good enough... There were too many of them... I couldn't... I'm sorry."

Hinata tried to understand how Naruto felt, but it still made her feel badly. "I guess that's best..."

"I don't know." Rukia said. "Do you want to hear the rest?"

 

"The important thing is that your alive..but according to Sakura,that might not be true for long..''Gaara said silently,moving closer to Satoshi's bed

Naruto and his big mouth.He had forgotten how sensitive Hinata could be when its comes to.....well,anything.He perked up and smiled at her."Just kidding,what better food than the food my wife makes!"

You dont know?...if your lying to me then I'll slice off your head and put it on Michiko's bed. Sasuke thought.He took the time to deactivate his Sharingan and sat down with her."Yes,keep going."

 

Satoshi shut her eyes. "... I did that badly, huh?"

Sakura took her hands away from Satoshi's back before she'd finished healing. She rubbed her fingers together. "Hmm..." She extended her hand to Gaara. "I found the drug. Recognize it?"

Hinata looked up at Naruto. "You mean it?"

Rukia sighed and continued. "The third Hokage was the one who voiced dissent about this whole thing. But his advisors and Danzo-sama wouldn't listen to him. They had never trusted the Uchiha. Because of that, hard feelings arose in the Uchiha and their suspicions became reality. The Uchiha formed a coup d'etat to take over the village. So the higher-ups of Konoha planted a spy within the Uchiha.... That spy was your brother."

 

"..How could he spy his entire Clan out of request?"Sasuke asked

Naruto nodded."Ichiraku is good,buts missing something...love!"he smiled

Gaara tilted his head to the side.Why does she keep asking me...?he wondered,then glanced at the drug."..No--..wait..wait a sec..''he muttered,looking at it closer,he struggled to remember it.

 

Sakura pulled her hand back. "It's not like anything in Konoha. I've never seen something this color before either." She looked at the thick, bright green liquid on her fingers.

Hinata blushed. "Th-thank you."

"He knew it was the right thing to do." Rukia said. "Anyway, your father was the leader of the coup d'etat, and Itachi entered the Black Ops as a spy on you father's request. But Itachi did the opposite. He gave Konoha information on the Uchiha. In other words, he was a double-agent. Itachi chose that path because of all the deaths he'd seen during the 3rd Ninja War when he was just four. He thought it best to stop a war before it started. Seeing all that trauma at such a young age made him a person who hated war. He put the stability of the village first and worked towards peace. He didn't want the village to be wrapped up in conflicts, and the elders used that to their advantage. They gave him a secret mission... an eye for an eye so to speak... Only someone with the Sharingan would be a match for the Uchiha. His mission... was the annihilation of the entire Uchiha clan."

 

"....And he spared me...didnt the elders,or whatever,bark at him?"Sasuke asked

"Ok,fix it up and I'll taste it!"Naruto said,putting his hands together and rubbing them.

OOC: Isnt that poison the one that Sasori used?

 

Rukia smiled. "He didn't care. He couldn't bring himself to harm his little brother. So he told you to hate him, to avenge the Uchiha name. If he hadn't done it, a fourth Ninja War might have started. What would you have done if you were him?"

Hinata nodded and set to work.

Naruto sat down at the kitchen table and eagerly awaited Hinata's cooking.

"..I've never seen it..''Gaara muttered.

".....''Sasuke was speechless.
