Hatsumi shook her head, tears forming in her dark eyes. "I was too scared...."

Sakura looked towards the stairs when she didn't hear anything.

"She already went down there, Sasuke!" Rukia shouted, doing a french braid in Michiko's hair.

 

Sasuke gritted his teeth and looked toward's the door."I knew I heard something..she's in trouble now..''he muttered,heading for the door.

"Sasuke...''Naruto muttered,then turned his attention back to Hatsumi.He quickly scooped her up and gave her a loving hug."there,there..''

 

Hatsumi clung to Naruto, tears running down her cheeks. She cried whole-heartedly as though she'd never cried before.

"Sasuke!" Sakura called after him. "Stay here. I'll get her."

Naruto rubbed her back in an attempt to comfort her.

Sasuke stopped and looked back at Sakura."Fine..but you better not stop me when you bring her home..''

 

"You're not touching her when we get back." Sakura shot back and left.

Hatsumi shut her eyes tightly, her sobs turning to quiets whimpers. "Don't make me go back..."

 

Naruto frowned and tried letting her go."..But you've got to..Hinata-chan isnt your mother,and im not your father..''

"Yes I will!"Sasuke shot back before the door closed.

 

"Then become my daddy..." Hatsumi said, letting Naruto put her down.

Sakura began searching for Hatsumi.

 

"..Why do you hate him so much?"Naruto asked her.

 

"I don't hate him..." Hatsumi climbed back into the chair. "I'm scared of him..."

 

"...Im sorry you feel that way,but..I have to take you back..''Naruto said,picking up Hatsumi again and heading for the door.

 

Hatsumi held onto Naruto. "He's gonna be mad at me..."

 

Naruto stopped outside the door and sighed."..You can stay with me and Hinata for a couple days..but after that you need to go back..''he said.

 

Hatsumi squeezed Naruto in a hug. "Thank you." She said quietly.

 

"But only if one of your parents agrees..''Naruto said,exiting his office and walking toward's his home.

 

Sakura saw Naruto and Hatsumi and went over to them. "Good morning, Hokage-sama." She greeted and then looked at Hatsumi. "Are you okay?"

Hatsumi nodded, still holding on to Naruto.

 

"Morning,Sakura-chan..''Naruto smiled."Hatsumi wants to stay with me for a couple of days..somethings going on at home,I presume?"he asked her.

 

Sakura nodded. "I think it'd be good for her to stay with you. At least until I can sort this out. Thank you."

Hatsumi smiled to herself, glad that Sakura hadn't said no.

 

Naruto smiled and bowed."Thank you,Sakura-chan!"he said,then quickly run off.

Naruto arrived inside his large house."Hinata-chan!we've got a guest!"he wanted to make her pancakes,and since it was still relatively early,he still had the chance.

 

Hinata came to Naruto. "Oh, Hatsumi-chan?" She smiled. "And how are you?"

Hatsumi smiled back. "Better now." She loved the way Hinata spoke to her and the sound of her voice.

 

Naruto handed her to Hinata."Im going to make breakfast again...be right back!"he said,then raced into the kitchen and began preparing.
