Cave Story is a pretty fun game

More so when you realize that it was made by a single guy in his spare time.

There is no excuse for people to not play this game since it's free on the PC. $10 on the Wii and it felt good buying it.

 

That's all the motivation I need.

Since when did Gamefaqs cover VNs and Freeware?

Oh well. I missed it. Probably for the best. I would have been torn between my two favourite games.

 

People who haven't played Cave Story aren't people. They're CANCER.

@no-reality_allowed - Wii version was a disappointment imo
@Sforzato - Nah. The cancer is halo/cod/etc.

 

How was it a disappointment? It's the exact same as the PC version but with updated visuals, music, boss rush, time attack, and you can play as Curly. If anything it's an improvement.

I do agree it's an improvement though.

@Christhor - IIRC, the author based him on soap.

 

herp derp Cave Story Wii Version got updated.

So apparently, it now has bad-ass bgm.

Also, it's not much of a disappoint anymore (IMO). It turned into the complete opposite.
