Maria made a salute "Yes sir" Even though she was a solider of a different country no one other than her knew. and besides she wanted to know what a Derma was

The buildings where slowly falling apart and people was screaming for help. Cailen sent a concentrated fire beam at towards Matt's barrier. He also slowly began to move the fire away from some parts of his body. Starting with one of his arms.

 

"Fine." Ben said to Drake. As he headed out the door, Jane followed close behind him. He didn't really want to go into battle again either, especially if it was the same person they had fought early before, but if they were making a huge disruption in he city square he had to try to stop it.

"There's no way I'm staying here while you all fight." Annabel said as she headed out the door, now that she had backup she didn't care about her foot.

Clara ran after Annabel, just by glancing at her foot she could tell it was broken, this woman could not fight, especially two Dermas. But as she chased after her she thought that she could probably help her while they were there, and she could also help the injured people that had gotten caught up in the fighting.

 

Drake watched them run out the door "they will get killed if they run into battle like that" Drake said

 

Maria took something out of her bag and followed them all with haste

 

Ben kept glancing at Jane, trying to tell by her expression if she was ok with going into battle again, not that she'd actually show her fear in front of him. "Are you O.K. with this?" He asked her.

"If this is what you wish than I shall abide." Jane said in a monotone as they hurried towards the city square.

Annabel was far behind Benjamin and the other girl, but she could still see them up ahead. Taking out her sword she was ready to get back at that Derma that had insulted her before. The determination in her face was evident.

Clara walked behind Annabel, by the look in her face she was really concentrating on something, and she didn't look like someone who would be very friendly at a time like this. So she didn't speak to her, but she did keep track of her foot and her motions, trying to figure out a quick way to take care of it when she finnaly stopped.

 

The flames hit his right arm again, burning it. He did not flinch from the fire though, and simply dropped to the ground, rolling on it over his arm towards Cailen, extinguishing the fire in the dirt, and then spun upward, using his broken left arm like a whip, and whipping his sword at him again.

 

Cailen focused the flame under his feet creating such a pressure that he took of and flew several feet into the air before crashing into a tree. The pressure made from the take of made the burning buildings collapse around them.

 

Drake continued to sit there with his eyes closed why.....why did those two go. Even with a broken leg that girl chose to still goes to fight and that girl Clara went after her even though she has no fighting experience and hardly knows her........why? Drake thought to himself as he began to hold his head "humans are selfish" Drake muttered quietly to himself

 

Matt stood still, creating the barrier once again of slashes, as everything that fell towards him was deflected, slightly scratched by the sword, but hit with enouph force to push them away.

Ben and Jane approached the battle, luckily it wasn't with the same guy that they had faught before. "What shall we do master?" Jane asked. "Wait a few moments. Lets figure out when to go in." Ben replied.

Annabel stood behind Ben waiting for orders. Her foot was killing her but she tried to put it out of her mind.

"Miss.....miss....excuse me miss. But please you really shouldn't fight in your condition." Clara pleaded with the girl with the broken foot.

 

OOC: its okey its been one of the most post filled days yet anyway!

Maria looked around "where is the guy he's fighting?" she asked looking around

Cailen climbed down from the tree he crashed in, it had started to burn so he jumped. "That hurt, i don't like that"Cailen said angry. before running past the group watching charging at Matt again with his body slowly beginning to burn again.

 

Drake opened his eyes and sighed as he stood up I will never be able to understand that Clara girl if she dies Drake thought to himself as he put some money on the table and walked out

 

Matt saw him approach. He ceased the swinging of his blade, letting his left arm hang down, the broken 'tool' giving off quite a creepy appearance. The muscles in his legs bulged out, as if being given a strength boost. He placed it under a large chunk of building that had collapsed around him, and kicked it up into the air. He followed it, doing some what of a flip in the air, placing his foot on it again, and kicked it, kicking it at Cailen.

 

OOC: happy new year people ^^

Cailen deflected it with partly stepping away and partly with his, sword. He used the motion to spin around and fire a few fire balls at Matt while still charging at him.

 

Matt began swinging his sword at a rapid speed again, in Cailens direction, to block the attack. It moved at such a speed, that it was creating wind around it. The moment the fire balls it, instead of hitting him head on, the seemed to grow in side, and burst, going past and around him, but not through him.

 

Ben looked at everyone behind him then focused on Maria, he could tell that she wasn't a Derma, so he didn't want to put her right in the middle of the battle. Looking around at all of the people who were running away as buildings were collapsing. "You there miss. I need you to start helping people get out of here, and you," he said to Clara, "Start helping the wounded." Then he put his hand on Jane. He knew that she was tired, she still hadn't gotten rest from her last battle, but he didn't want to have to face the King if this battle didn't settle down. "Ready?"

Jane nodded, she was tired, but Ben had (sort of) asked her to get in there, she heard the buildings and the fighting and she knew that she wouldn't be able to just jump in the middle of the battle, so she would try something else. With a quick swing of her arm she summoned her scythe and used a flash step to get closer to the two fighting. She sewed a ribbon into the ground then continued to flash step in circles around the two as they faught. Everytime she stopped she sewed another ribbon into the ground. Until she had a huge round web hanging over them. Then with a huge dash she pulled on the strings, making them appear out of thin air and crash down ontop of the two.

Clara ran to the first person who was laying on the ground bleeding and moaning. She hadn't brought any medical supplies but the man was bleeding from his leg that had been crushed by a piece that had fallen from one of the many buildings that had collapsed. "It's ok, I'm here to help you, try to control your breathing, you'll make it I promise." Clara said very softly, trying to calm him down as she ripped a piece of cloth from her bottom of her dress and wrapped it around the mans leg. More buildings where falling around her, and large peices were falling close by to make her feel a little uneasy about where she was standing.

 

Drake held his head for a bit as he headed towards where the fight. Im close. I can hear them fighting Drake thought to himself as he ran forward and was surprised to see all the destruction taking place. As he observed the area he then a huge piece of rubble heading straight towards Clara. Without even thinking he immediately ran towards her and slashed away the ruble from her with his sword

 

Clara saw the rubble coming at her, knowing she couldn't do anything to save herself she curled up around the man, closed her eyes and prepared for the impact. When it never came she opened her eyes to see Drake standing there. She just stared at him, surprise filled her eyes. "T...t...thank you." She whispered, she had been sure that she was going to die, she could barely speak. She had never really been in the middle of a battle zone before.

 

Drake turned and faced her as he put his sword over his shoulder "why did you come here when you can't fight. You will gain nothing from comming here" Drake said

 

"Neither will you, why did you come?" Clara asked softly, her voice was starting to return. The man laying next to her moaned again and she turned her attention to him, finishing wrapping his leg and helping him to sit up. "Just stay here and rest, I have to tend to others." Clara said softly to him, and stood up next to Drake.
