Jane's focus left Matt and and let go of her grip on the web and flash stepped in front of Ben, her scythe at the ready. She listened to the fire ball crackle in his hand she couldn't see the creepy look on his face so she wasn't afraid, but she was tired. Her breathing was heavy, it had taken a lot of energy to make such a large web of ribbons. "You shall not harm my master as long as I'm alive." She said her face determined

Ben looked at Jane and noticed her heavy breathing. He had to get him to go quietly. "I advise you to give up, you will not win."

Clara nodded to Drake and continued onto the next person.

 

Maria noticed the mans eyes "this will not end well, that guy isn't normal"She thought for her self "the girl she's to tired, there most be another way". She looked around and noticed a barrel of water.

"So you want to die first then?"Cailen asked Jane sincerely "cause i can make that happened" He said smiling

 

Drake ran forward knocking away and rubble that was heading towards anybody and grabed as much people and then threw them down on the ground of a safe area even though they had wound. He was not getting used to being a kind person to everybody. Drake continued to carry more people to safe areas

 

Jane didn't reply, she just charged forward, she knew that he could burn through her ribbons so she could use them, she would just have to defeat him using her scythe.

Ben watched her charge forward, he knew that she wouldn't win in close hand to hand combat, he was still training her. His mind raced trying to figure out a way to help her.

 

"Hey you i need a hand"Maria shouted to Ben she was trying to move the water barrel but she wasn't strong enough.

"I take that as a yes"Cailen said as he smiled. He threw the fireball at Jane, and then he charged at her.

 

Drake sighed as he finished gathering up the civillians and crossed his arms "looks like thats all of them" Drake said calmly

 

Jane dodged the fire ball and when he was close enough swung her scythe at him, it glinting in the sunlight as she swung it with all of her might.

Ben looked over at the girl and saw the barrel of water. She had a good idea. Quickly he helped her lift it.

 

Cailen blocked it, he laughed like he was really enjoying it. He kicked her in the stomach and and was ready to torch her.

Maria and Ben carried it. "We need to hurry she won't stay alive for long."She said as they moved it quickly towards Cailen. They threw it at him just as he the fire was about to hit Jane.

All the fire was put out, "that was weird"Cailen said he tried to create more fire but the fact that he was soaked made it impossible "That wasn't very nice. i'm trying to kill here"

 

Drake turned around and watched the fight and crossed his arms. a derma with fire powers now soaked. This is not looking good for him Drake thought to himself

Really sorry about the delay, had to get some things straightened out first.

Ok so this character will probably only appear once or twice (including right now) I know it’s godmodding a little but it’s just this once, just so we can start heading into the next part. Sorry =/

Personality: His personality is a lot like Benjamin’s. Quiet and reserved but is respected by everyone, he is the Kings right hand man.
Bio/History: Benjamin’s older brother. His father sold him to King Edward when he was small and Benjamin came along with him to the castle. There he went through extremley intense training with the King and is now one of the most powerful Dermas in the country.

Class (Spiritual Power): Special, he uses mostly Psychic, Aggressive powers to actually control the musicles in a persons body. He can’t make them move around, but he can tense up the muscles to make them freeze in their places. And he can release the muscles to make them go limp. At first he was able to just do this to one or two people at a time. But after the training he went through with the King he is now able to do it with large crowds of up to 100 people.
Imperfection: Unlike normal people who lose energy and then regain it back after resting, William loses energy slowly, so while other people would be tired after hiking a mountain he wouldn’t. But sooner or later his energy is going to run out, and he will never regain it back.

Ben unsheathed his sword and quickly lashed out at Cailen ready to strike him down when all of a sudden he couldn't move. No one could move. Everyone within the destroyed area had frozen. "Sh**." He mumbled knowing exactly what was going on.

"That's quite enough!" A very loud and deep voice rang throughout the area. On top of the only building that had survived the destruction a man, who could have been Benjamin's twin stood looking down upon the group, his hair and cape blowing softly in the wind. He lept down from the high building. A fall that would have klled any human if they had tried, but he landed softly and gracefully on the cool, stone ground. The man walked casually over to the five who were in the middle of the fighting, Matt, Cailen, Ben, Jane, and Maria. "Once again I have to save your petty little a**." He said circling Ben once. "You've really done it this time, look at this place. His majesty is not happy. Oh! And look at this!" He said, almost tripping over Jane who was on the ground from when Cailen had kicked her. "Your pathetic little derma is just laying on the ground. That's where she belongs anyway." He said, looking down at her with his head held high. "Well His Majesty is fed up with this, it's going to cost him money to fix all of these buildings. And he’s very dissapointed in you Benjamin." He said with a small cocky smile. “Arrest the two Dermas!†He shouted to the small pack of soldiers that had gathered close by. They looked at him wearily, they knew that Derma's were incredibly powerful. "Don't worry, they can't do anything about it right now. Get them out of here to be interrogated."

Clara was working to save a man when her body suddenly stopped moving, she couldn't control her own body, it wouldn't move. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a man circling Benjamin, talking to him, she couldn't really hear what he was saying but when he finished she did hear the word interrogated, but she didn’t know that it was only for Matt and Cailen, not for the whole group. Her eyes widened in horror. No! She wasn't going to go through that again! She had to move her body! She had to get out, get away! She tried, and tried but she could not move her own limbs, nothing worked.

William could feel when someone was trying to break his seal. Most everyone was trying, but when he said the word interrogated one person faught the hardest to get out. He gaze landed upon Clara, who was still struggling to get away. He casually walked up to her, his gaze never leaving her.

 

Drake stood there with his arms still crossed unable to move. Drake looked down at his arms damn this isn't the work of my imperfection Drake said and looked over at William "he must be the cause" Drake said and tried to break free

 

"S***,S***. not good. I'm not gonna get captured, not now. After all this time I'm not gonna get captured by that stinking king"Maria thought fighting with every muscle and all her will power."I'm not gonna lose"


Cailen who had no idea what was going on looked at everyone he could see and thought "Why are they stopping me from killing people, it doesn't make any sens that and i want a cookie."

bic: Matt glared at the new comer, and intensity of hate in his eyes. These people had come out of no where. These...insects. Filthy people. Serving under the government in fact. It was disgusting to him to even be near these people. "Touch me, and I can assure you, you will pay dearly if you lay a finger on me..." he said in a spiteful voice.


"HEY! LET ME OUT OF THIS THING! Its not fun!" Arrow complained, unable to move. Originally he had intended to escape, but now he was stuck, under the new comers ability. "Let.....me.....go!!!!!" he yelled, yailing and complaining about his predicament.

 

William walked up to Clara, there was something strange about her. Quickly he took her arm and turned it over so that he could see her wrist. He saw the symbol branded into her wrist. "Well what do you know, we've got our selves a little runaway slave." He said roughly dropping her wrist. "Take her too." He said to the soldiers. He then walked up to Matt, and got right up in his face. "And what are you going to do about it, huh? You can't move." He said with a cocky smile.

 

"Hey i cant move.."Cailen suddenly uttered like he just realized "Now thats weird, whats next burning kids is unethical" he rolled his eyes and tried to move but failed

 

Drake looked over at Clara slave? Drake thought to himself. He watched as Clara struggled to get out. Drake then started to try and move struggling as hard as he could

 

Matt tried his hardest to move, but could not. If it were a matter of physical strength, then he knew that he would have no problem, but this time he was up against something completely different.
A smirk appeared on his face though, no matter how bad the odds looked at the moment. "What'll I do? Well what're you going to do? Take me in, question me, the whole bit? Tgh, the minute you let this thing down, I'll slice you into too many pieces to count." He said in a cocky tone, and spit in William's face.

 

Demetrio kept hunting for humans and kept absorbing their lives to keep himself full.

 

"Trust me, you'll wish you'd never done that. Load em up!" He yelled to the solders who stood gawking at Matt for actually spitting in Williams face. He then turned to Annabel, who he hadn't placed the seal on, he knew she was one of the kings favorites and he would be angry if he'd done anything to her. "Let's go Anna the king wants to see you." He said almost kindly to her.

Anna looked at William then at the others who stood unmoving, she was tough, but she wasn't stupid, she knew she had no chance to stand up against William all by herself, especially with her foot. Nodding she limped over to William who gave her an odd look for limping then rolled his eyes and started walking back to the palace.

The soldiers easily took Matt, Cailen and Clara and loaded them like statues into a wooden carriage and headed off to the palace a few minutes after William and Annabel had left. As soon as William was completely gone the seal was gone on everyone but the prisoners and they could move again.

 

The moment Drake could move he looked down at his hands and watched as he moved them. He then looked ahead at the palace and stared at it for a while and then sighed this is annoying Drake thought to himself as he begun to run forward straight towards the palace
