Clara slowly walked over to Drake and gently took the loaf of bread from his hands. Using both hands she clutched the bread softly and split it into equal halves. Her hand extended out towards Drake, with half of the bread in it and her face was full of smiles. "How about a compromise?"

Annabell came back a few minutes after Matt did. She held two rabbits by their feet, both with their heads already cut off and the blood pooling out onto the ground leaving a small trail. When she heard Matt she chucked one of the corpses at him, causing rabbit blood to go all over him, "Make it yourself you lazy a**."

Ben sat there staring intently at a map of the area, he was used to traveling around this part of the country from his time in the war. But he wasn't thinking about where to go, it was time he was worried about. They were being pursued, they had some pursuers in front of them, and they had to get to the Arons and meet the army there before a deadline, all the while keeping this very large and peculiar group unnoticed.

 

Drake sighed "alright fine then" Drake said as he took the piece of bread and sighed once more and then smiled. He really was hungry but he didn't want to show it

Personality: Though shy, sheltered, and like a lost child she can drastically change personality when with someone close, if anyone other than her brother gets close to her, or threatened. If with someone close she becomes outgoing and speaks her mind. But when threatened she gets very defense and violent. Though no matter how violent she may get she's always against killing. She even will try to stop strangers from killing. But due to being passive she'll only try to talk them out of it 7/10 times. (The other 3/10 times she'll either fight them or just turn the other way.)

Bio/History: She and Matt used to live in the same town. Matt was always off on his own, while she was under the care of an elderly woman. She always seemed to be tagging along with him, and while he always left her to take care of herself, whenever she did something wrong, he would always step in to correct it. He would attempt to train her though, to make sure that she would one day be able to take care of herself. One day though, Matt snapped, and finally beat up one of the towns members, accidentally killing him. In retaliation, the town formed a mob, attacking her home, and killing the elderly woman that took care of her. As a result, before she was attack, Matt stepped in, killing them all. Not too long afterwords, Matt dissapeared, journeying off on his own without giving her any warning. ever since, she has been on a journy, tracking him down, constantly meeting up, and losing him once again. Through her travels though, she has encountered many humans, who without warning, would attack her.

Special Skills: Energy manipulation: She can gather the energy around her, which exists in everything, even the air, it could even be hardened into diamond, as well as if she were to encase someone in that diamond, completely, then she can drain them. (It's not likely she'll use it that far since she is against killing anyone and even hurting anyone badly. Plus she vaules her vision, but was forced to use it at times.)

Alice has been staying in Maderin for the few past days in an inn. Then one day the a large part of the town was destroyed. Due to curisiousity, but with low hopes of finding what she searched for, she went out to find out what had happened. Through the town gossip and infomation network she had learned who was the cause of it, and one of them sounded like Matt. I can finally find my brother! Oh, so happy~ Was her thoughts as she went out to find him.

Upon learning that he had been arrested she quickly planned an escape for him, but arrived only a few moments too late. Frustated, she headed out in the dircetion that the guards did... She headed towards the mountians she came upon the woods and up ahead heard some voices. (Matt and thems)

Alice stumbled over a root, having her engery drain from her through the day's walk and fighting, landing on one knee. "Owie..." She whined as she struggled to her feet.

 

"SOMEONE is a bit antsy today. Really, taking your anger out on the poor bunny rabbits? How could you?" Matt said in an innocent tone, taunting the girl once again.
'And why should I make it myself anyways? Your the ones who kidnapped me from my comfy cell. I'd think that the least you owe your guest is to cook his food for him, meat sack." He said with a grin on his face.

 

"You're not a guest." Anna said as she tied the other rabbit to a small brand and started skinning it roughly, you could tell she was trying to hold in her anger at matt, but she was taking it out on the rabbit.

Clara sat down and slowly munched on her bread.

Suddenly Jane stood up and took out her scythe. She looked alert.

Ben looked up at her, he knew something was wrong. "What is it Jane?" He asked, getting a little worried and standing up next to her.

She didn't respond for a few seconds as she was listening, "There's someone out there, sounds like it's only one person. And they're having trouble from the way their walking and not being quiet at all." She muttered.

 

Drake began to eat the bread and then looked over at Jane and Ben "I'll go check it out. I havent fought somebody in a long time" Drake said as he fished eating the bread and grabbed this handle of his sword that was still on his back. He began to head out to where the noise came from

 

"If I'm not a guest, then what exactly am I? Hmm?" Matt asked Anna, paying no mind to the others about the single person nearby. For the time being, it was no matter of his. If it became a problem, then he might have fun with the threat. But until then, there was only one source of entertainment for him here.

 

She didn't even need the orders from Ben, she knew what he wanted without him telling her so. She followed Drake for backup.

Clara stood up and went over next to Ben, she still had the bread in her hands. "What is it?" She asked him.

"You're more like a pawn." Anna said through clenched teeth, even though she herself was also a pawn, just not to the same degree.

 

"Your help isn't needed but then again I doubt Benjamin sent you to help me" Drake said as he came upon that girl that looked like she just fell down. Drake immediately drew the huge sword on his back and pointed it straight at the girl showing no emotion

 

Alice smiled nervously, eyeing the blade. "Sorry, I don't really fight unless needed." She shook her head and waved her arms in front of her. "So... If you could kindly lower your weapon..." She shifted to the side, so that way the blade wasn't pointed at her, as she spoke. She was already weakened and needed rest... This was no time for fighting strangers. "I'm actually just looking for someone, not a fight."

 

Drake put his sword on his shoulder and looked at her "and who would this person be? and why are you inside a forest like this" Drake said calmly finding it strange for somebody else to be in the forest

 

Matt scoffed at her answer, placing his hand over his mouth to make it so that way he did not laugh too hard, or at least so he wanted to make it look like. "ME?! YOUR pawn?! HA! I'm here because I'm bored. Do you honestly believe that I even plan on fighting for your little cause?!" he asked, obviously humored by the mere idea of it.

 

"Matt." She said, now monotone with the blade no longer pointed at her. "He's about wee high," Alice held her head above her head, "And he's weird, talks funny, and normally smells bad." As she answered she was walking around the man who looked ready to attack her, acting causal. "And I love forests, don't you?" She answered the last bit sarasictally.

 

"well there is a guy that fits your description that is with my group" Drake said referring to the name and height she described. He closed his eyes and turned away "I could care less about what you do next" Drake said walking away with his sword still on his shoulder

 

"What a... Weird guy..." Alice thought as the guy spoke, having everything he said go through one ear and out the other the moment it was said. When he walked away she made her way to the place where the rest of his group were. As soon as she got close Matt came in sight and she rushed towards him. "Brother!" She shouted as she tackled him.

 

Drake walked out in the forest alone. The truth was Drake only went to find out who the stranger was because he wanted to be alone. After finding an area he stuck his sword in the ground and sat down against a tree. He then took off the gauntlet that covered his left arm and sighed as he looked at his left hand. "to protect someone...I've really changed...or maybe not. I'm that same guy who used to get paid to kill others. The same guy who killed without showing any emotion. hmph once this war is over I'll just go back to killing other. killing others is all I know how to do" Drake muttered as he clenched his left fist "...maybe I should just leave them. I gain no benefit in fighting them" Drake muttered

 

Jane casually followed the girl back to their camp, she seemed harmless enough but she didn't let her guard down.

When the unknown girl burst through the trees Ben was on his feet in a flash with his sword drawn. He noticed Jane following close behind with her scythe still out but Drake was missing. But he didn't focus on that, he knew that Drake could take care of himself wherever he had gone.

"Brother?!" Annabel guffawed, "This is your sister?" Annabel was also standing now with her sword drawn but she was to busy laughing to hold it up.

Clara was also standing, she wasn't on the defense, like the others it had just surprised her. She giggled at the sight of the girl but then noticed Drake had not come back with Jane.

 

Drake continued to sit there and then looked at his left arm which had a long scar. "so your alone too? then how about this Drake we will watch over each other together. We wont let anything happen to each other and beat any monster that we meet" said the voice of a young boy in Drake's mind. Drake immediately closed his eyes and began to hold his head "watch over each other? heh I also said that I will beat any monster that I meet. Now its time to die monster" said and older version of the boy in Drake's mind. Drake immediately opened his eyes and started panting. He suddenly got up and grabbed his sword and stabbed his sword into a tree in anger

 

"OH CRA-" Matt started to say, as he was tackled to the ground, a big hug around him from his little sister.
Matt slightly chuckled from the hug though, suddenly changing the original expression on his face from the pompus smug guy, to more of a brotherly, caring appearance. "Heeeyyy, Princess. Long time no see." he said, hugging her back. "Looks like you finally caught up. At no better time to. The only people that aren't filth around here either mute or way too cheery." he said to her, refering to Drake and Clara. "Where've ya been?"

 

Annabel stopped laughing when she saw Matt change, he was an entirely different person around this girl, he didn't have the smug annoying face that he usually had.

Clara decided to go look for Drake, and headed off into the woods.
