Drake sat there with his hand on his head still. All the noise in the inn was not helping him recover

 

Clara walked back over to Drake and took his arm. Together they walked up the stairs as she led him to his room. They got to the end of the hallway and she opened to door on the left. Inside there was a bed, a nighstand, with a lamp, and a desk with a lamp on it also. Next to the bed was a window that looked out through the city, it was actually a remarkable view. She sat him down on the bed. "Will you be ok?" She asked, worry still in her eyes.

 

"its just a headache nothing more" Drake said and he layed down on the bed "catch" Drake said as he threw something at her

 

Clara caught the item that Drake threw at her.

 

Cailen had began dancing down the street, jumping and shouting. Some people could not stop themself from laughing, the young man with the smile of a child dancing and singing. Though the lyrics where horrifying, most people thought it was a joke.

Maria got up, she put the map into her bag, and put the bag on her shoulder. She then began walking slowly towards the city.

 

In her hand was a coin that was worth a lot "its payment for the room. Keep the change" Drake said as he closed his eyes

 

Clara held the coin out to him, "Oh no, thank you, but the room is free, we don't get a lot of customers besides the people at the bar, so it's not like we have to worry about the rooms filling up. So here you go."

Annabel started to walk up to the man, there was something about him, he creeped her out.

 

Drake continued to close his eyes "judging from that bread you threw I presume you don't have that much money. Keep it. I'm going to sleep now and ignore you" Drake said not taking the money

 

"Burning puppys, burning children, eating sweets an roasting everything" Cailen sang now dancing in circles. He had eaten the other half of the cookie but he had now put the bloody cloth on his head.

 

Clara smiled sweetly, then quietly put the coin on the nightstand, and left the room, closing the door quietly behind her. When she walked down the stairs, some of the men at the table closest to the stairs called her over by name. "So Clara where'd you find this one?" One of the larger men asked. She didn't want to mention anything about the fight or the fact that he was a Derma, she only replied, "I found him in an alleyway, he seemed to be in pain, so I brought him back here." "And let me guess, you know nothing about him, right, you just knew that you had to help him." The burly man said, "One of these days Clara you're going to pick up the wrong person, and they're going to hurt you, you have to be more careful, not everyone is as soft hearted as you." "You worry too much." Clara said as she left them to chatter and went on serving tables.

Annabel just watched the man and his "funny" singing, and dancing.

 

Drake continued to sleep. He began to toss and turn as the voices in his mind got louder and louder until after a while he sat up and began panting hard

 

"What do you think of my song?" Cailen asked with his usual innocent smile. "Its the song of what i did today"He said it with pride in his voice

 

Clara continued to wait tables downstairs, chatting with the customers. She kept a smile on her face, but she was worried about Drake, he hadn't looked so good when she left him. She thought that maybe she should check on him, but she also didn't want to disturb him if he was sleeping. She decided to just let him rest, besides to had to work double to make up for the time she had missed before.

Annabell had a discusted look on her face as she watched him, "You did all of those things?" You could definitley tell that she was not enjoying his song.

 

Drake sighed "why have these memories come back after all these years" Drake said as he got up "that girl....maybe she is not like......him" Drake said as he got up and cleaned up the room and noticed the coin on the night table "hmph stupid girl" Drake said as he took the coin and headed down

 

"of course! What funny things have you done today?" He asked with curiosity. He looked at her waiting for her answerer. She was strange to him, why didn't she smile?

 

Clara was waiting a table when she noticed Drake come downstairs. He was looking a lot better. She finished up with the table then walked over to Drake. "Feeling any better?" She asked.

Very blankly Annabel replied, "You sicken me."

 

"Yeah I'm feeling better. It was just a lot of painful memories just comming back to me all at once" Drake said

 

"Memories?" She said curiously. "Oh! I haven't properly introduced myself, my name is Clara." She said dipping her head low.

 

"Why? its what everyone dose isn't it?" Cailen said confused. He looked at her as he didn't understand what she meant. Which was tru after all

 

Drake looked at her "my name is Drake" Drake said calmly
