"I know that bit and I'd like you to give them back." Scarlet-Ice frowned again.

Li had appeared again as mist, watching the conversation. Scarlet-Ice had looked right at him but couldn't see him. He sighed slightly. What I wouldn't give for anyone to see me...

OOC: Everalx and Sakura are the only ones who can see him.

 

"Oh, I would love to... on one condition." He chuckled, seeing Li.

 

Li blinked at Everalx.

Scarlet-Ice frowned. "What might THAT be?"

 

"I want a hug, a motherly hug. That's all." Everalx opened his arms.

 

Scarlet-Ice frowned, scanning up and down him. Eventually, she stood and walked over to him. "I have enough mental power to break free if you absorb me."

 

"And I am well aware of that." He kept his arms open.

 

Scarlet-Ice looked down at him and then hugged him tightly.

 

Everalx hugged back and closed his eyes. He smiled, enjoying the hug. "I love you, mommy..." Everalx gasped at how childish his voice sounded.

 

Scarlet-Ice picked him up, still hugging him. "I love you too and don't think just because I left you doesn't mean I did it on purpose...."

Li smiled at them both.

 

"I know, mommy... i'm sorry for being so bad..." He snuggled up against her.

 

"You've got an evil father and been through a rough time. I wouldn't expect you to be all laughs and smiles." Scarlet-Ice smiled slightly.

 

Everalx sniffled, trying not to cry.

 

Scarlet-Ice hugged him tighter. "You can cry if you want to..."

 

Everalx struggled a bit more, then started crying.

 

Scarlet-Ice petted his hair. "Just let it all out. It'll be okay..."

Li smiled at them both.

As Everalx's tears hit Scarlet-Ice, she blinked and looked around.

 

Everalx cried harder. As he cried, the people he absorbed started appearing on the ground.

 

Li landed on the floor, unconcious.

Scarlet-Ice smiled. Hugging him tighter, she watched the people appear. "Good..."

 

Oen appeared on the ground.

Everalx's crying died down to a whimper.

 

Scarlet-Ice put him down and broke away. Smiling, she wiped away his tears.

Li didn't move at all.

 

Everalx hugged her. "I'm sorry, mommy..."
