"Um...C;mon"he muttered,trying to get her back to his parents before things got akward,he felt guilty

 

Hermia stopped in her tracks, still looking at the floor. "Sorry..." She said quietly.

 

"For what?"

 

"You're uncomfortable... I can tell..." She mumbled.

 

"Im not....its ok."

 

"You sure...?" She asked, looking up at him again through her long bangs.

 

"Yeah."he said,smiling"I'll get a scar if you smile for me."

 

Once again the pink flashed across her pale face and she tried her hardest not to smile back at him. "Maybe I'll think about that offer." She giggled slightly.

Hermia continued to giggle as she tried to keep a straight face.

"I win."River said weeks later with a grin on a face,this was one of those rare occasions when he could pin Blaise down, as he had been told ,he had gotten better...and more muscular ,much to his delight

 

"No I don't." She giggled before finally cracking into a wide smile.

Hermia was sat a couple of feet away from the fight between vampire and werewolf. In the last month or so she'd changed a fair bit too, her build had changed from being too skinny to being a well toned and slender look thanks to the work out she'd been helping River with. Her hair was also a lot shorter now, she'd cut it not long after they'd started the heavier training, it was constantly getting in her way. It was now just below her shoulders rather then hanging down long past her hips. She'd also become a lot less snappy, maybe because she'd adjusted to the smell of vampire?
"Fastest time you've done it as well River." She smiled as she glanced down at her watch.

 

"Yes!"he grinned

"You can get off me now."she said grinning

"Oh right sorry."he said he pushed off her,his cheeks faintly pink

"I could swear your arms werent that scarred when you arrived.."

"It was you...mostly"he said grinning"You halfed my eyebrow,"he said pointing to the small scar "and gave me another under my eye."he pointed"enough scars for you Hermia?" he said turning to wink at his friend

 

Hermia smiled slightly as she felt her cheeks warm up. "Well they certainly suit you." She giggled.

 

He grinned

"Well I gotta go get out of this stupid armour because I have company coming"Blaise said smiling

"Yeah...I go change too."he said quickly

"You stay here boy!"Mickey called

 

"Sit." Hermia giggled slightly, watching River closely.

 

he sat down,tugging the armour off"That feels better."he said,pulling his shirt back down

 

"Well, well done." She smiled, brushing her hair behind her ear. "You're doing so much better then when we first got here."

 

He grinned"Only cos I got help."

 

"You should be proud of yourself." Hermia smiled reaching up and ruffling his hair playfully.
