Clash of the races'

"why?"he said,pink flashing across his cheeks.

 

"Erm... Well..." She said blushing even more. "I am jealous... I'm jealous of Blaise, I'm jealous of every girlfriend you've ever had and I'm jealous of every girl you've ever had a crush on..." Hermia mumbled, she was blushing so much it felt as though her face was burning. "And it kills me inside when I see how you look at her because I know you've never looked like that at me..."

 

"Wh-....Hermia.."he said looking stunned

 

Slowly she dropped his hand and let her hands hang down by her sides, unsure of what to do now. "The real reason I'm still here isn't because I can't track Danny down again, I could easily if I wanted to... It's because the very idea of leaving you physically hurts me..."

 

"what?"he asked"How could it hurt you?"

 

"I... I just can't stand the idea of being away from you...Of not seeing you for even one day..." She said looking down at the floor. "It's one of the things that happens with... with..." Hermia couldn't bring herself to say the last word, to admit it was almost to admit that she needed him, and she hated the idea of admitting to being dependant on someone else.

 

"Being imprinted on..."He said

 

"Yeah..." She nodded, her voice quiet and weak.

 

he sighed


ooc- I thought of how Blaise could try to kill him,something happens at camp and she's got a sword covered with vampire venom because its leathal to werewolves and she stabs river with it.

 

"I'm sorry..." She said quietly. "I'm so sorry..."

Hermia whimpered faintly, she felt as though she'd just been gutted. She wanted to run away, but she couldn't. She just had to be the one werewolf in existence that managed to imprint onto someone who wasn't the perfect match, the one who imprinted onto someone who didn't love them back just as much as they loved them.

 

"Im sorry Hermia...."he said turning away again"I'll see you later."

 

Hermia didn't respond, she just stared blankly at the floor. A sinking feeling rising in her stomach and tears stinging in her eyes. She had to be the defective one, didn't she?

 

River made his way quickly through the forrest,managing to trip a few times,so when he emeraged he was covered in dirt,small scarps and leaves were in his hair

"Oh there he is..."Mickey saidd grinning"how was Cadey's blow up thing? where's Hermia?"

 

"I thought you two were going to stick together so nothing happened."

 

"Not right now."He said stopping to rub the leaves from his hair


"what happened?"Mickey asked

 

"Did something happen?" Lake asked, seeming quite worried.

 

"Um yeah actually...I just found out she's imprinted on me...we were with cadey and she said something that implied us being a couple,we walked and she said she was jealous of everyone girl whos been with me and then..."

 

"So I was right..." Lake sighed.

"You just walked off and left her?" Ocean asked, she'd come down to visit for the weekend as she didn't have to work at the hospital for once. "Seems a bit of a dick move to me."
