Clash of the races'

He leanned his head back against the tree and sighed,shutting his eyes


"You ok Rivie?"

"what? Uh yeah...just felt tried there for a second..."

"Maybe you should go get some sleep." Hermia suggested, furrowing her brow worriedly.

he shook his head"I gotta work harder now...now that with no doubt the volturi will be involved..."

 

OOC- Sorry I haven't been on in a while. It got pretty hectic here in the last couple of days ^^'


"You can't train right now, you need to heal. Take the rest of the day easy, then tomorrow we'll start training you again, okay?" Hermia said, calmly trying to suggest something that'll appease him and prevent him from making his condition much, much worse.

He smiled "Day off huh? I like that idea.."

 

Hermia couldn't help but smile back, it was like it was an automatic reaction to seeing him happy. "Good." She nodded, brushing her hair behind her ear again.

 

"Hey....Elena.....go...play with dad or something for awhile ok?"River said "I have to show Hermia something."

 

Hermia tilted her head slightly, like a puppy who's curiosity had been caught.

 

Elena,too tilted her head,then seeing the look in her big brother's eyes,rolled her own before climbing off him,and hurrying away,knowing too well what would happen in a matter of moments.

River chuckled quietly at her speediness,and leaned forward slightly,inches away from Hermia now"Well..."he said a grin etched onto his face"She's gone....no five year old should see their brother do this....might scar them for life.....then again...she sees My parents do it constantly..."he said moving closer with each word,his nose almost touching hers,he tilted his head to the side,he felt the adreniline kick in in his nervousness as he now though about what he was about to do...Nervous? Hah! River Michael Hunter Malfoy always acts on impluse! when do You have time to get nervous? the little voice in his head asked,his grin slid from his face and a look of seriousness passed over him,he seemed to sigh...no..take a deep breath then closed the distance between him and Hermia,pressing his mouth to hers. All this time,since he'd woken up and found her next to him,he'd fought the urge to do this....in his dream he'd replayed everything that had happened....and it made sense that he should feel like this....he'd felt like this since she'd told him that she had imprinted on him....and now....he'd returned the imprintation....he'd felt it happened as he looked at her when he woke up.....he was just worried with how she'd react now...

Hermia blushed deeply as he got closer and closer to her, her breath quickening as her heart raced. She made a tiny, barely audible gasp of surprise as she felt his lips upon her's. Her eyes snapping wide open. Did this mean he had returned the imprint? Or was he dazed from the toxin? Or did he just feel bad about what had happened? Or maybe he was on the rebound from Blaise...?
After a moment, once it had sunk in, she kissed him back. Deciding that she didn't care why he was doing it, she was just happy that he had. For once in her life she was going to think of the present, not the future. Gently and tenderly, resisting the urge to be slightly more aggressive as he was still injured.

After a long few mintues that seemed to last forever,he pulled away "Um...."He said

 

Hermia smiled at him and gently placed her hand on the side of his face, the tips of her slender fingers dipping into his golden hair.

 

He smiled back "Thanks Hermia."

 

"For what?" She asked quietly as she tilted her head slightly to one side. Subconsciously she bit her lip, his taste still lingering on there.

 

"For getting me to my family on time.....for letting me kiss you..."

 

"Like I'd have done anything else..." Hermia said sliding her hand back further into his hair. "You know how I feel about you..."

 

"You could have just left me...I would have deserved it...after the way I left you ...."He said "I want you to know Hermia....that when I saw you after I woke up....I felt me return the imprination...to you.

 

She felt a wave of joy and of peace sweep up through her as red flushed over her cheeks, he'd returned the imprint. In just a few short moments she'd gone from thinking she'd spend the entire of her life alone and in agony because the one she wanted didn't want her to having her soul-mate.
"Really...?" She asked quietly, not daring to believe that it was true.

 

He nodded"I see now...looking back girls I dated...never cared about me....the only went with me because I was tall,tanned,blonde,blue eyed....good looking....or because they thought I was funny...none of them would have dragged me back here....But you did...Girls....used to turn my head....make me look...mess me around...now I know they wont....because I only want one......You."

 

"Well, I still think you're pretty hot." She giggled. "But that's just a bonus really." Hermia added, an unusually shy smile on her lips. "Well if we're talking about previous relationships... I've spent so much of my life alone so far... The couple of boyfriends I had just made me feel more alone in the end and treated me like sh*t... That's why I was so cold and so aggressive, most of the time anyway... In all honesty I am just a b*tch sometimes..."
