she laughed"I know....and they go well together....like you and Mickey did..."Maddie stood up"speaking of children I have to go see Aj about something..."she started towards the woods,


"RIVER!" the screams,both together,crashed through the night like a whip cracking


River's eyes snapped open and in one swift motion he was on his feet Cadey and Elena... he thought,sniffing the air "he's here."the innocence that he had when sleeping was gone....that cute babyish look washed away as anger,hate and rage burn in his eyes and his face twisted viciously.

 

Hermia, who had always been a heavy sleeper, fell down onto the ground before waking up with a loud gasp. "Wh-What's happening!?" She asked, jumping to her feet as quickly as possible.

Lake didn't waste a moment, quickly she jumped to her feet and ran straight towards the source of the screams.

 

Mickey raced after Lake,changing as fast as he could


"Danny....has....Elena...."he said breathing through his teeth,suddenly the most vicious of snarls broke from him "I'll kill him."with those three words,River sprinted towards the forrest,changing in seconds

 

Lake carried on running as she was, not even thinking of changing. Her mind was on one thing and one thing only, finding Elena.

Hermia quickly took after him, jumping over a log and changing instantly. The shreds of her clothes scattering across the forest floor.

 

"and now we wa-"

River collided with Danny,who had,had a grip on Elena,River snarled and snapped his teeth,trying to get the vampire's throat.

 

Hermia quickly charged in after River. She ran up behind him and grabbed Elena by the back of her shirt and tried to pull her away from the vampire as carefully as possible.

 

Elena whimpered and turned to hug herself to Hermia

River changed back to human,the two boys broke a fallen tree as the tumbled down a hill,then River punched Danny,a good one,right in the jaw,snarling,there was a few snapping sounds

"River...stop! wait!He's still Danny!"Cadey cried,who was down at the base of a tree"stop it!"

Danny then drew a knife and managed to get River with it,right on the cheek,

River snarled in anger and shoved him hard against the ground"You must seriously want to die sooner Danny.....taking my sister....my baby sister? Your lucky I havent ripped you f*cking head off."River had never felt so angry,he was shaking and hissing,his eyes were actually stinging,River and Danny had only ever fought over one thing: a girl when they were 13 but this....this was as worse as it could get

 

Hermia nuzzled against Elena's cheek, trying her best to be friendly in her wolf form. Acting almost like a giant pet. Though her eyes were directed at Cadey, an obvious look of 'shut the hell up' in them. This could be the night everything ends and she wants it to carry on.

 

Danny laughed "You kill me? hah! make my day...go on do it!"

River snarled,but somehow slowly relaxed his grip

Danny snarled then and shoved River off him,sending him crashing into a tree"Dont p*ss me off Riv.."

 

Hermia snarled darkly, resisting the urge to charge at the undead ******bag. But she had to stay and keep a watch on Elena, she couldn't leave her undefended.

 

River snarled

He laughed again glancing at Hermia"Keep your ***** on a lesh River..."he bent down next to him"Listen...dont make me kill you before I have too....stop trying to beat me.....you wont win...give up..."

 

Hermia moved to attack him before thinking better of it, the self control was killing her.

 

River changed back into a werewolf,raised his paw and cut Danny across his face,digging in deep

the vampire roared and turned to flee,no way he could fight now,not with the blood in his way

 

Hermia made a small concerned noise, as though asking River if he was okay.

 

River changed back,wiping the blood off his cheek"Im fine.."

 

Hermia nodded slightly and bowed down slightly, indicating that Elena should climb on her back so she could take her back to her concerned parents.

 

"I'll get Cadey.."He said watching his sister scramble onto Hermia's back

She nodded carefully as she let Elena settle down on her.

 

River knelt bseside his cousin"Cadey?"

"we lost him again..."

 

After a moment Hermia slowly started to head back towards the camp, being careful not to do anything that might cause Elena to fall off.
