River was still curled up in his bed,suprisingly his father had let him sleep in for once in a long time...

 

Hermia, who despite her heavy sleeping was usually an early riser, was already up. She was sat on one of the big pillows that lined the floor near the heater in the middle of the tent. She was sat with a large mug of tea cupped in her hands and was still in her rather short nightdress. She'd resigned herself to accepting that River wasn't getting up any time soon, but she felt as though she should really talk to the other members of his family.

 

Elena was wandering around,though not into the forrest,now and the she would come in the tent

 

On one of the Elena's trips into the tent Hermia looked over at her. Since the kidnapping she'd felt as though Elena was now part of her pack, a pup she needed to help care for. "You okay Elena?" She asked.

 

"Yeah"she nodded smiling limbing on her brother pulling a stuffed animal from behind him,she clicked her tounge "stealing tibbles again..."

 

Hermia giggled slightly, she'd noticed the bear a little while ago but hadn't had the nerves to actually ask about it. "He going to happy about you taking that without asking?" She asked with an amused expression.

 

"He's mine"she giggled..."river took it"

 

"Oh did he now?" She giggled, looking at the sleeping figure of the boy wolf.

 

she nodded"He always does...it used to be his when he was little...but he gave it to me when I was born...but he keeps taking it"she said clambering off his brother,who didnt as so much budge a inch,only letting out a snorty-snor

 

"Bless him." Hermia giggled. "That was very nice of him to give you the bear, just a shame he can't part with it."

 

"He pretends he doesnt like it"she giggled "I think Daddy's cousin gave him it before he died,something like that."

 

"Sounds like there's quite a sad story behind that little bear then." Hermia said, smiling in a wistful way. She often wished she had some toy from her childhood, a keepsake or even just something of any sentimental value. But she didn't, she didn't even have so much as a memory of her parents.

 

she nodded"Daddy doesnt talk about it."she said "It makes him sad....he doesnt look right when he's sad....there's no sparkle in his eye."she was now sitting against River's stomach,her brother was always toasty warm and never seemed to mind

 

"Well then we should probably stop talking about it in case he comes in, we don't want to make him sad, do we?" Hermia said, quickly trying to change the subject before someone got upset.

 

she shook her head

"There you are Elena...you need to tell people where you are.."Esmya said entering"Hi Hermia.." The bronze haired girl picked the five year old up then shook her cousin awake "River! Uncle Mickey said its time to get up."

"F*ck off 'Mya....Im tired."came the muffled response

 

"You heard her sleepy-head." Hermia giggled as she set the cup down on the ground. She wandered over to try and help the others get River out of bed.

 

"I dont wanna!"He whined

"River just get up,Im not in the mood for you ok? I've been up half the night,between being sick and the baby playing foot ball inside me...so move"


"Christ...Now I know why You dont annoy pregnant girls...."he said sitting up

 

Hermia giggled slightly. "Come on you. You've had way more sleep then usual anyway."

 

"Fine..."He said rolling out of bed,looking on the floor"where's that shirt?"

 

"If you mean that disgusting one you've been wearing for the last two days your mum picked it up a couple of hours ago. She said if you wore it much longer it would start to join in with the training." Hermia giggled.
