Clash of the races'

"Tell Cadez Im sorry will ya? and that I love her....look after her...and Hermia too...Hermia...never...really spoke to you before...but Im sorry for putting you through this with him.."

 

She shook her head slightly as though protesting against his claim to guilt. There was just something around the boy that just told her that there was no real malice from him, it was from some other force.

 

"River....promise you'll protet people from the likes of me....promise"

"I promise.."

 

Hermia looked up at River.

 

"Heh...good....see you....when its your time..."He said shutting his eyes

River felt his own go wet and his vision went blurry

 

Hermia nuzzled against him to try and comfort him.

 

He smiled weakly at her"Im fine..."he muttered wiping his face


"River! Hermia!"

 

Hermia whined slightly at River, she didn't believe that he was fine.

Ocean, who'd managed to find her father, ran out of the woods behind him.

 

he smiled again,turned "yeah?"

Mickey stopped,seeing Danny"So...thats what that big shock wave was..."He muttered

 

Ocean wandered up to Hermia as she pulled her hoodie off. "I'm guessing you'll be wanting to get changed." She giggled weakly, holding the gigantic hoodie out.

Hermia nodded slightly and took the thing out of her hands she quickly darted off into the woods again to get changed back into her human form.

"Are you hurt?" Ocean asked turning to her brother.

 

"Just a little"he said shrugging

"Doesnt look like 'a little' he broke through the armour..."Mickey said tugging at it

"OW!"

 

Ocean sighed. "What are we going to do with you?"

Hermia wandered out of the forest, the hoodie only just long enough to cover everything that needed to be covered. And she was still covered with blood.

 

"Wrap him up in bubble wrap"

"Hermia? are you ok?"

 

"But then he might suffocate..." Ocean said as she shook her head. After a moment she raised her eyebrow and grinned. "Then again, doesn't sound like such a bad idea."

Hermia nodded slightly as she walked up to him, her arms snaking around his waist as she pulled him into a hug.

 

he hugged Hermia back,and grinned at his sister"Being wrapped in bubble wrap sounds awsome"

 

"Might have to try it out someday." Ocean giggled. "Anyway, we should get going. Get back to the others and report and stuff..."

 

"what about-?"


"Your cousins will get him...dont worry....he died human...he'll just be put in the grave that was meant to be his from the start..."

 

"Everything will settle back down to normal hopefully." Ocean nodded. "Like none of this ever happened, like it shouldn't have in the first place..."

"Aaand we're home."Mickey said pulling into the drive way"man its good to say that."

River was sitting one the window side,his face pressed against the glass as he'd fallen asleep on the way home

 

Hermia was sat next to him, she too had fallen asleep. But instead of on the window she'd fallen asleep with her head on River's shoulder. She had her hand resting on top of his and she was breathing lightly.

"Finally!" Ocean clapped, scrambling to get out of the car.
