Clash of the races'

River then picked her up,trying not to move her much ,so's not to hurt her anymore.He went into the house and lay her down on the couch


"Daddy? can I get my colours out?"Elena asked as her father got out the car



"Hmmm....maybe."

 

Hermia relaxed slightly once she'd been set down on the sofa. Her eye lids flickered slightly as she tried to keep her eyes open in the battle against exhaustion. It seemed the battle had been in vain, as within a couple of moments of being laid down she'd fallen straight to sleep.

"I think she can." Lake giggled slightly. "But she'll have to go in her room and try and be as quiet as a mouse. Hermia's out cold by the looks of things."

 

"Yay!"Elena cried quietly,then she tiptoed up to her room.


"Should I get her a blanket?"

 

Lake giggled slightly as she watched Elena make her way up the stairs, she then turned back to reply. "Yeah, it'll save her a lot of embarrassment seeing as she's not exactly full clothed."

 

"Er right..."he said hurrying up stairs to a closet,then coming back down with a big fluffy white blanket.


Mickey had drifted of into the kitchen,saying something about being hungry.

"Dad...when are you not hungry?" he asked as he put the cover over Hermia

 

"He's all ways hungry. I'm amazed we can keep up with the amount of food he consumes." Lake giggled.

 

"Yeah well.."he said,his voice muffled because he had a packet of meat hanging inbetween his teeth"I was always this way....even as a kid I could eat my weight in stuff, and that why I am why my dearest big brother used to call me : a lazy fat sh*t."he grinned

 

"If you're that hungry I'll make you a sandwich or something you know."

 

"Nah its ok.....Im in the mood for meat."


ooc-do you wanna move on to the camp thingy?

 

"Okay, I'm going to go get changed. The vampire smell is getting on my nerves." She said reluctantly sniffing the collar of the dress.

ooc-might as well...then I can introduce Blaise, she's gonna beat up River in a fake fight XD ^^ thus getting him a royal teasing .

Lake smiled sweetly at her husband before wandering off upstairs to change into something a little less vampiric.

 

"Dad...please stay down here."River said

"Why here?"River whined

"River stop whinging....This place will help you."

 

"D'awwwh." Hermia cooed mockingly. "Is the little wolf pup scared of the big bad woods?" She laughed, playfully poking River in the ribs.

 

"No...I just "he said squirming away"Dont want to be here.....people need to stop waking me up...."He grumbled

"Uncle Mickey!"


"Oh no."River muttered " Please tell me Aj is not here."

"Remember Maddie said he got a summer job....this is it...training half-vampires."Mickey said "Hey Aj."

"Was Wondering when you lot'd get here."Aj was tall,pale-ish (being only half-vampire) with a faint glow about his skin blonde with brown eyes, all in all....he was pretty good looking."Aww there he is...wittle Rivie's." and He always made a point of mocking anyone he could.

" See This is why I cant stand you."

 

Hermia wrinkled her nose slightly as he came over, she'd been wondering if agreeing to come had been a good idea. Her nose was exceptionally sensitive to the vampire scent, even for a werewolf. But she wasn't leaving River to train on his own, parental supervision or not. After seeing how the family worked for a couple of weeks she'd noticed that it was all too easy for one or the other to get distracted.
So she'd decided to brave the vampires.

 

"River...what've you been told about talking to people like that?"


"Not to."he muttered

"Good boy....now lets see who we can pit you against."

"what? your just gonna throw me in the ring? without showing me first?"

"Yeah....oh but we gotta get you kitted up first....you dad made this cool stuff a couple of years back...its like armour...but it changes when a werewolf does....so you dont get hurt."

 

"If you lose with the armour then you're pretty much a lost cause." Hermia grinned cheekily at River.

 

"Haha."River said

"Come 'ere."Aj said dragging his cousin away,only to shove him back to the family again moments later

"Your getting faster Aj."

River tugged at the 'armour' this stuff weighs more than me!"he said

 

"Well seeing as you shouldn't be so skinny as a wolf that's probably a good thing." Hermia smirked as she sat down on the ground.
