"Well, Tetsu's not exactly what you'd call the violent type. In fact he despises and abors it, and that's not what the Elves look for in a leader. In fact, he was disowned by his family just before I met him. He wasn't what they wanted for the next Eldar."

 

Dein nodded silently. "That's cruel..."

 

"Maybe... But, Tetsu never wanted to be the Eldar. He thinks the system's corrupted, which it is. But it always has been, so no reason to fix it. As sick as that sounds. Personally I think his job now is much better suited for him the leading every Elf in the world."

 

Dein nodded thoughtfully. "And what about you?"

 

"What do you mean, what about me?"

 

"What's your role in your family?"

 

"I'm just that girl that gets married off into influentional families." She sighed

 

Dein sighed. "But your part angel? doesn't that count for anything?"

 

"Yes it does. That's why I'm just going to get married off to some guy I barely know, if I was pure then I'd be third-in-line..."

 

"Oh..." Dein said a little put down, his sword going en extremly light purple-ish colour. "And i thought i had it rough..."

 

"Well, I have minimal amout of people trying to kill me, I've got a nice home, most of my family is nice to me and I'm good at sneaking out of my house without being caught. I don't think my life's that bad, I just have to avoid the marrige thing for as long as possible..."

 

Dein nodded silently. "Though, if i were you i'd avoid Kate..."

 

"Yeah, that'd be a good idea too." She smiled "I got used to the marridge thing a while ago. I guess it's just one of those things..."

 

He smiled silently at her, his sword mixing between pink and purple...

 

"Just hope the guy's not a jerk or a old man though..."

 

Dein smiled meekly. "At least he won't be a demon..." He reminded silently resting against the wall.

 

"Never know with the treatys that are going on these days..."

 

"I've heard that elves very rarely cross..." Dein reminded. "If it's true then demons won't come into the picture..."

 

"Yeah, Elf crosses are often rare. But as the world unites we're becoming more and more common. Marrige of royality is a very good way of forging alliances. Besides isn't your friend Zach a Demon-Elf cross?"

 

Dein shrugged. "His mother was killed for it..." Dein explained sadly. "Heh, us demons f*ck everything up..."
