D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

kairi walked over to Sota and said, "I can't remeber my mom...my dad burned all the pictures of her...right after she died...."

 

Sota lowered his head, his eyes turned away, "I'm sorry...I guess we both have had a rocky start, haven't we?"

 

"yeah we have..." said Kairi.

 

Sota sighed, "...we should probably check on Kira."

 

"eah we proable should...." said kairi.

 

Sota looked around, "Umm...," he rubbed the back of his head, and nervously laughed, "Uh...actually, why don't you lead the way, because, uh....I don't remember where his room is?" He smiled, closed his eyes, and stuck a little bit of his tongue out.

 

"Okay..." said Kairi laughing a little and takeing lead...kairi took Sota down the hallway and to a room. As the came to the door a nurse came out of the room. "Hey...are you kairi?" said the nurse. "Yes I am...." said kairi "Okay...well...your brother is fine now...he just had a attack..all he needs now is rest so will you please let him rest for an hour or two?" said the nurse."Uh...sure." said Kairi. The nurse walked away.

 

Sota ran a hand through his hair, and sighed, "Well...at least the danger's past."

 

"yeah at least it is...." said Kairi.

 

"So...umm...is there anything you want to talk about?" Sota asked, desperate to kill the awkward silence.

 

"uh..Not really..." said Kairi.

 

Sota sighed, "...you wanna go for a quick walk? It looks like the rain is starting to stop, and you look like you could use some air...and a fresh change in clothes." Sota raised an eyebrow at her pajamas.

 

"uh...yeah I could use a change of clothes..." said Kairi turning red in the face.

 

Sota laughed a little at her face turning red, "C'mon, I'll take you back home."

 

"Okay..." said kairi laughing at herself for the frist time in a while.

 

Sota led Kairi out of the hospital and down the street. After about 15 minutes of walking, they made it back to Kairi's house.

"Here we are," he said.

 

"Thanks..." said kairi. she opened the door and ran up the stairs to her room. she changed into warm and dry clothes.

 

Sota walked in and sat down on the sofa, and waited.

 

Kair came back down the stairs.... "this is a lot better." said Kairi sitting on the sofa beside sota.

 

Sota stared at Kairi for a second, then smiled, "Yeah, it looks a lot better than walking around in pajamas."
