D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

Dark smiled, "Ah, well, that's good to know. It's a little different for me, though." He got up from the foot of the bed, went to Kairi's side, and sat beside her. He nelt his head next to hers, until his face would reflect in the mirror. Sota's face reflected back instead of Dark's.

 

Kairi looked in the mirror she couldn't believe what she was seeing, instead of it being Dark' s reflection it was Sota's.

 

Dark reclined back a bit, but then sat straight up. He could hear sirens coming. "I think it's time I took my leave for the moment. Bye now." He stood up and started walking.

 

"Bye." said Kairi she still sat on her bed thinking about if what she saw was ture.

 

Dark jumped off the balcony, called With to appear, and quickly flew to Sota's apartment, and changed back to Sota's form.

Dark nodded in Sota's head, "That went well..." Sota gawked at Dark, "'Went well'?! You just told her that you have my reflection! Just what were you going for, there?!" Dark closed his eyes and shrugged, "Aw, don't worry about it! Besides, we need to get some sleep. Things are going to get hectic in the morning..."

Sota was fed up, so he complied; he changed into some pajamas and went to sleep.

 

Kairi layed back in bed adn fell asleep.

 

Sota woke up as his alarm went off. It was morning, the sun was starting to come up, and he felt like he didn't get a wink of sleep last night. Thank goodness it was Sunday, though...although why he had his alarm clock on, he had no idea.

 

Kairi was walking home with Kira, he was finally released from the hospital. They talked about the stuff that awas happening around town, but Kairi never said anything that happened last night.

 

Sota got dressed, and had breakfast. As he went to brush his teeth, out of curiosity, he looked at the mirror: He saw his reflection, not Dark's. He sighed in relief, brushed his teeth, and proceeded to leave his apartment. Just as he shut the door behind him, he heard it:

"I'm still here. Don't think that because you can't see my reflection at the moment doesn't mean I've gone, Sota."

Sota dropped his head, then proceeded to go outside.

 

Kira and Kairi were at their house they ate breakfeast.

 

Sota walked along the street of his apartment. He glanced on the other side. He could see through the window that Kairi and Kira were eating breakfast...wait, Kira's back!

Sota sighed in relief. He thought he was going to be in the hospital at least another week. He continued walking down the street. He glanced at a nearby television shop that made his stomach turn. It was a news report over Dark's stealing the Memorable Mirror...

"Aw, they always shoot my bad side whenever I fly...," said Dark, pouting in Sota's reflection. Sota panicked a little as people were coming by. They looked at Sota funny as they passed him.

"Relax, kid. Only you can see me in these normal reflections. It's objects of magic, like the Memorable Mirror, that can let others see me," said Dark amused. Sota sighed, but then tensed again as Dark added, almost playfully, "Too bad we don't have it anymore." Sota's eyes widened. It was still at Kairi and Kira's house!

 

kira and Kairi had finished eating and place their bowls in the sink. They went outside and sat on the porch while tamaki and Atobe played in the yard.

 

Sota sighed. There just wasn't any way around it...he'd have to go back to Kairi's house to get the mirror...he turned around and started walking. As soon as he got in view of the house, he saw Kira and Kairi. He sheepishly smiled, and waved at the two.

 

Kira waved back, but once Kairi saw Sot she looked away rembering what hapened last night. She was confused adn didn't feel like talking to sota.

 

Sota smiled that Kira waved, but frowned when he saw Kairi look away. He started walking towards their house.

 

Kairi continued to look away, she still was confused by what happened last night. She sighed.

Kira was looking at Kairi wondering why she was acting so werid.

 

Sota crossed the sidewalk and arrived at Kairi and Kira's yard, "Hey, Kira! I expected you to still be in the hospital. I'm surprised your out this early," Sota watched as Kairi shifted uncomfortably, "Umm, Kairi, I left something here last night. Do you mind if I get it?"

 

"I'm surprised to..." said Kira.

"Go ahead." said Kairi.

 

Sota nodded at Kira, but avoided eye contact with Kairi, and proceeded into the house. As went up the stairs, he felt his face turning red. He was going into a girl's room for a second time, both times without permission...she may have said he could go into the house, but this... Sota's heart was beating rather fast...

"Ah, well, that explains a lot," said an amused Dark, "I think we should see how this turns out, shall we?"

"What are you-Agh!" Sota felt the change. It wasn't as bad as the first time, but he still wasn't used to it. As he straightened up, Dark's voice came out, "Mm...her room's pretty cute, when there's a little bit of light in it." He walked over to Kairi's nightstand and picked up the Memorable Mirror, and put it inside Sota's backpack. "Now that we have what we came for, let's have a little fun, shall we?" Dark proceeded back downstairs.

 

Kira was in the kitchen and Kairi was outside still, She looked toward the road, and then loked at the front door. She stood up and looked at the road once more.
