D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

One of the girls spoke up, "Kairi, you know Sota's had trouble with the law, right?"


Sota dropped With off in his apartment, "Okay, With, stay here and be good, okay?" With looked down, "kyuuu...."

 

"Uh...i didn't know that....what did he do?" said Kairi, unsure if she wanted to know.

 

They just shrugged, "We just know he was arrested a few times for fighting."


Sota sneezed. He quickly blew his nose, and proceeded to the observatory, where his job was.

 

"oh..." said Kairi. He didn't tell me about that... thought Kairi.

 

One of the girls placed her hands on Kairi's, "Be careful around him, okay, Kairi? He's never been right since his parents passed...we don't know much, either, but they say that they were killed right in front of him." The other girl spoke up, "If you two are hanging out, make sure he's not using you, or anything like that."


Sota finally got to the observatory. He looked up. He could see Mikeru's comet starting to come into view.

"So, that's Mikeru's comet, eh? Only saw that thing once, and it was a real doozey."

Sota was not pleased to hear Dark's voice, "After stealing in my sleep, I'd think you'd stay silent longer."

 

"I'll be careful." said Kairi, "okay."

 

"Hey, I'll have you know I stole the Angelic tears for a very good reason!"

"Save it," Sota said, sitting down and getting his notebook out, "I don't want to know your reason right now."


Before everyone knew it, 3 pm rolled around. Sota started heading back to the school to meet with Kairi.

 

Kair was walking out of the school, the grils that sat with her at lunch were still with her until theey hit the gates.
"bye Kairi." said all of the girls.
"bye." said Kairi she went one way as they went the other.

 

Sota passed some of the girls walking away from the school. They were giving him strange looks.

"Wonder what's up," he said. He looked up and saw Kairi. He smiled.

"Kairi!" he called and waved.

 

Kairi stoped and turned around and waved back at Sota, she smiled.

 

Sota caught up with Kairi, "Hey, sorry that took so long! My job ran longer than I though it would." He slung his bag over his back, "So, is there anything you want to do?"

 

"uh...it's okay." said Kairi, "there is nothing I really want to do."

 

"Hmm...okay...," Sota thought for a moment, "well, it's almost time for dinner. Do you want to meet up somewhere and get something to eat?"

 

"uh...Sure." said Kairi.

 

"Okay, where do you want to meet at? Your place, or mine?" asked Sota.

 

"which place do you perfer?" said Kairi.

 

Sota shrugged, "It doesn't make any difference to me; your place might be better, though. Your kitchen seems better equipped than mine...plus With will want to see you, no matter which place we go." Sota smiled.

 

"well..We'll meet at my house I guess." said Kairi.

 

Sota nodded, "Okay, I guess I'll meet there at...would 6 work?" Sota started walking.

 

"yeah that would work." said Kairi walking.
