D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

Sota looked up at her, his eyes red, "Really?"

 

"Really..." said Kairi she continued to smile slightly.

 

Sota wiped his eyes, and sat up, "Thanks, Kairi...I'm sorry I didn't tell you...I'm sorry I didn't trust you, sooner." He smiled weakly.

 

"it's okay." said Kairi she smiled back.

 

Sota wiped his eyes a little more, "Ah...it's, umm...it's starting to get late."

 

"Right." said Kairi standing up.

 

Sota wiped his eyes again, trying to catch his breath, "I'll see you at your place in a little while. I have to drop my things off and get With...do you want to order anything, take out or something, or would you rather I cook something?"

 

"you chose...Since you'll be the guest at my house." said Kairi.

 

"Cooking it is, then." Sota said. Their homes were in sight. "Okay, I'll see you in a few minutes."

 

"she you in a few." said Kairi walking towards her house.

 

Sota ran up to his apartment. He opened the door and went inside. "With!" he called.

With came out of the kitchen, cookie crumbs all over his face. "Kyuu?" he asked. Sota frowned and looked inside. All of Sota's cookies were gone. He looked down at With, who looked up at Sota. With smiled.

"Kyuu-urrp!"

Sota picked up With and brushed the crumbs off of him, "We're going to see Kairi at her house, With." With got excited and plopped himself on Sota's head, "Kyuu! Kyuu!"

Before Sota opened the door, he saw it: A vial of liquid, with a pair of wings wrapped all around it. "What is...?"

"That would be the Angelic Tears." said Dark, "You know, I gotta say, I've never had a partner who was arrested before we ever met. It's kind of a refreshing change of pace."

Sota sighed, "I'm afraid to ask...why did you steal it?"

"Several reason, old boy," Dark said, smugly, "Mainly because it's magic. Here's a handy dandy little tip for you: Take it with you to Kairi's place tonight."

Sota looked into the mirror annoyed, "I'm supposed to follow your advice, now?" Dark nodded at the other side, "Trust me, you won't regret this."

Sota sighed again, "I already do." He put the vial in his pocket, and left his apartment for Kairi's house.

 

Kair ran up stairs and laid her stuff in her room. She made sure that Kira was at work like he always was.

 

Sota walked quickly across the street to Kairi's house.

 

Kairi sat on the couch waiting for sota.

 

Sota knocked on the door. With was flapping his ears in anticipation.

 

Kairi opened the door. "hey." said Kairi.

 

Sota smiled, "Hi." With waved from atop of Sota's head, "Kyuu!"

 

Kairi looked up at With, she laughed a little.

 

Sota smiled, and took With off his head, "So, Miss Kairi, what would you like to eat tonight?"

 

"hmm...I'm not sure." said Kairi.
