D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

Dark turned towards her, and quickly tickeled Kairi's sides, "C'mon, show some excitement! This is all about trying to make you happy tonight!" He stopped as quickly as he started, "I know things have been rough for you, but you don't need to worry so much about it anymore...as soon as we see Kira, I can give him some help, so there's no need to feel so sad anymore..."

 

"I'm not sad." Said Kairi, "I'm happy."

 

Dark raised an eyebrow, and gently held her hands, "When you give answers like 'I guess', or 'uh..', it makes me think otherwise..." He tilted his head, and smiled, "It kind of scares me a little when you don't express yourself."

 

"why does it scare you?" said Kairi.

 

Dark gently brushed some hair off of Kairi's face and smiled, "I've been around for over 400 years, Kairi. Usually when someone is that reserved, that...emotionally inhibited, it's because they are extrememely unhappy...when they're that unhappy, they tend to want to hurt themselves...," Dark looked at Kairi in the eyes, while Sota did the same, "...to the point where it's fatal."

 

"So yoou think 'm going to do something to hurt myself?" said Kairi.

 

"I get the impression that it wouldn't take much to hurt you, Kairi," Dark said, a little more concern in his voice, "...I know about what your dad did to you. I took a look at Sota's memories. That's why I'm worried about you..."

 

"Thats all people do..worry about me..." said Kairi, "I sick of all the worrying...there is nothing to worry about." Kairi looked down at the ground.

OOC: I don't see why not; post a profile of a character you want to be, and we'll work out whatever kinks there might be.

IC: Dark gently lifted Kairi's head to look up at him. He smiled, "Kairi...none of us would be worrying about you if you weren't worth it. Let's face it, though, an abusive father isn't something to brush aside, either...if you say you're fine, then we'll believe you...just promise me this one thing?"

 

Kairi continued to look down, even if dark made her turn her head. She was silent.

 

Dark smiled again, "Please, come to us if something is bothering you. I know I must seem like the overbearing 'friend' to you right now, but...there's a reason why I'm able to appear to you, like this..." With jumped from Dark's head onto Kairi's, "Kyuu!"

 

"Fine." said Kairi, getting with off of her head.

 

With stared at Kairi, confused, "Kyuu?"

Dark smiled, "Okay...enough with my overdrama for tonight. Shall we see if we can win a...," Dark looked over to the prizes at the bottle toss, "...stuffed octopus...?" He looked again, in confusion and slight amazement, "What on earth?" Why would anyone have stuffed octupus dolls as prizes?

 

"I don't know." said Kairi.

 

"Ah, well..." Dark walked over to the booth, and paid for two people to try the contest. He tossed a baseball towards Kairi.

 

Kairi caught the ball.

 

Dark started off by throwing the baseball at the bottles. He broke the triangle pattern they were in, and the vendor threw a large, stuffed octopus doll at Dark. The doll hit Dark in the face. However, the doll had suction cups, and was stuck to Dark; he tried pulling it off, but he was having a hard time getting it off.

 

Kairi smiled, and laughed a little bit. She knocked the trianglee fromation down also. she was handded a smaller octupus .

 

Dark was still having a hard time getting the octopus off. With flew to Dark's head, and tried pulling to octopus off of him. "Kyuuu!" he said.
