D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

The nurse helped Sota into a medical bed, it was the one bacross from Kairi's.

 

Sota lay in bed, his stomach lurching. He kept muttering, "Sorry...so sorry..." in his sleep.


Sota was lost in his mind, everything around him completely white. He was trapped in a cage of white fire. He looked around, completely confused. Dark walked towards him, slowly.

"How're you holding up, Sota?"

 

Kairi was sleeping peacefully, she was fine, but she was just to tired to stay away, her head was still spining.

 

Sota was still tossing and turning in his sleep, clearly in pain.

Sota looked at Dark, "Dark? What's going on here?" Dark walked closer to the firey cage, "I'm sorry, Sota. You're feeling the full effect of us bonding together. I was hoping my stealing would attract my original partners in time, but it doesn't look like they were able to track me down in time. You and I are becoming permenantly attached to one another."

 

Kairi woke up slowly, the nurse was takeing care of another person. Kairi felt weak and tired still, she waited or the nurse.

 

Sota was still fretting in his sleep. He was starting to get a serious fever.


"Attached?" said Sota, "What're you talking about?" Dark walked forward a little more, "This is, more or less, how it came to be with my first partner. He came into contact with me, he was in the same situation you're in now, and the only way he could survive is if we bonded." Sota just stared at Dark, "You want me to do this so I'll survive? This whole thing sounds-"

Dark held up his hands, "I don't blame you for not wanting this; truth be told, I didn't want it for you, either, but I can guarentee, I'll be gone before long...if you agree to do this with me, not only will you survive, I'll tell you everything."

 

The nurse saw Sota and called for an ambulance.

Kairi looked around she felt sick to her stomach, she closed her eyes she felt like the room was spinning.

 

Sota stopped moving around, but his fever was slowly climbing.



"What kind of a promise is that?" demanded Sota, "Everytime you show up, you start causing trouble!" Dark nodded, "And it's going to get worse. The moment you bond with me, there's a good chance the transformations will be more frequent, but not by my choice," Dark walked closer, and extended his hand, "I'm serious though, Sota; if you don't, we both die. You have my word, I'll explain everything. You'll have the full story as to what's going on here. You have no reason to trust me...but I'm asking you to do it anyway. Please."

Sota stared at Dark for a moment, then extended his arm and shook his hand. The cage disappeared.

 

kairi noticed people from the hospital pick sota up. kairi was weak from being tired and couldn't say anything.

 

Sota was still asleep, but his fever was holding; not rising, but not lowering, either.

 

"Sota..." murmured kairi She passed out as the people left with sota..

 

Sota's breathing was starting to become regular. He woke up, dizzy and not seeing very straight, in a patient's room in the hospital.

 

Kairi continued to sleep peacefully, some of the girls came in the room waiting for her to wake up.

 

Sota tried to sit upright. His head was aching, like it was going to split in two. He tried to get out of bed. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he remembered the teacher carrying Kairi off to the nurse's office. He tried to walk out of the room, but fell to the floor.

"Kairi..." he muttered on the floor. He tried to reach for the door.

 

kairi woke up to see some of the annoying girls from before.

"Kairi..how are you?" said one of the girls.

"I'm fine, now." said Kairi yawning.

"the nurse said you have a minor fever, and you passed out because of exasusion." said another.

"Okay." said Kairi.

 

A nurse came in, saw Sota on the floor, and asked for help to get him back into bed. Sota tried to struggle, but was too weak to put up much resistance.

With was wondering why Sota hadn't come home yet, since it was starting to get late. He transformed into his wolf form, and flew to the school, landing in a tree. He saw Kairi through a window, and transformed back into his rabbit form. He waddled his way to a window, and started tapping on it.

"Kyuu!"

 

Kairi looked over at the window and saw With, Kairi opened it, picked with up, and shut the window. The girls lefted a while ago, "what are you doing here with?" said Kairi petting Withs head softly.

 

With looked at Kairi with huge sad eyes, "Kyuuuuu...," his stomach then started to rumble. He looked down, looking pitiful.

 

Kairi looked at her salad that she didn't eat, "Would you like to eat that?" said Kairi, "I didn't put anything on it."

 

With sniffed the salad lightly. He munched a little on a tomato. He smiled at Kairi in response, his face red from the juice.
