D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

Kairi laughed slightly at Sota turning red, "Thank you, I'm feeling better also." said Kairi, she smiled at sota.

 

"I'm glad," said Sota, as he stared into Kairi's eyes, "Well, I've gotten all I need done for today...do you want to grab some lunch and just...hang out, until the meteor shower comes?"

 

"Sure, that sounds great." said Kairi, she stared into Sota's eyes, she sontiuned to smile "you chose what we eat today."

 

Sota continued to smile, while slightly laughing, "Alright... I know this little outdoor diner not too far from here. We'd have to take the tram car in order to get there, but it promises a view of a fountain on one side, and a view of the city on the other," He gave a short, dramatic bow, while holding out his hand, "Would that be alright with you, Miss Kairi?"

 

"It's fine with me sir Sota..." said Kairi Jokeingly, She grabed the hand that was held out, she then laughed.

 

Sota laughed as he took Kairi's hand. He closed the door behind them as he led them down the street, still holding her hand. He was still blushing slightly as they proceeded.

 

Kairi stopped laughing and looked at sota, she saw that he was blushing then looked away, now blushing slightly herself.

 

Sota smiled slightly, looking at the ground while they were still walking and holding hands, "...this feels serious, between us, doesn't it?" He looked at Kairi, still a little red, "I remember always feeling uneasy around you. I kept constantly thinking, 'does she really like me, or am I just fooling myself and annoying her?'" He moved a little closer towards her, while walking, "I don't think that so much anymore..."

 

"It does feel serious, I like it." said Kairi, "Well, don't even thank that at all, Because I enjoy your company...I would never get annoyed."

 

Sota smiled as he watched Kairi, "...I like it, too," he released her hand, and put the same arm around her shoulders, "I won't anymore, but at the same time...it just feels too good to be true. I never imagined I'd find someone as amazing as you." Sota chuckled a little as he looked up at the sky, "Let's face it, you're way out of my league."

 

Kairi looked up at Sota, "your amzeing also." said Kairi, she laughed looking up at the sky. "i'm not out of your league...I'm in it." She smiled looking at sota agian.

 

Sota leaned towards Kairi, touching his head ontop of hers, and laughed a little, saying sarcastically, "Oh, you lie, terribly!...I like that in a girl." He laughed a little harder, and pulled his head back, "Oh, come on, how can you think that? A guy, looking like me, standing next to an incredibly beautiful brunette such as yourself...," Sota raised an eyebrow at her as they neared the trol car, "Anyone who would seriously think about us being together, the first thing they'd think is 'good grief, the girl must have lost a bet'."

Sota opened the trol door for Kairi.

 

Kairi steped into the trol car, "I doubt they would say exactly that, but I don't care anout what they saw." said Kairi looking at Sota.

 

Sota closed the door behind them, sat next to Kairi, and put his arm around her, "Yeah, I noticed you don't tend to follow the majority," he winked, "especially with that fan club that follows you around."

 

"please don't bring them up. I have enogh of them at school, and it seems when ever we talk about them they show up." Said Kairi.

 

Sota laughed, and moved closer, "My point is, you follow the beat of your own drum, whether it's to someone's joy or dismay," He looked into her eyes, feeling the tram car moving up, "Still...I don't remember fighting so hard for something."

 

"Oh...I never really thought of it that way." said Kari she looked at sota as the tram car began moveing. "I can't remeber fighting this hard for something in a long time."

 

"This goes into one of the reasons why I think you're amazing," Sota said, smiling. He leaned his head towards Kairi, and kissed her cheek. He looked behind them, out a window, looking at some parts of the city passing by, "Did you always live here? In this city?"

 

"I didn't, I was around six when my family moved here...by that time Kira ran away..." said Kairi leaning on Sota, "It was right after the case invistigateing my mother's death...I didn't understnd what happened to her, back then, but she saved me and thats all I'm thankful for...If she wasn't there my father surely would have..." Kairi's voice trailed off.

 

Sota opened his jacket a little more, and pulled Kairi a little closer, so it covered her as well. He wrapped one arm around her, and held one of her hands with the other, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring that memory up...if it makes you feel any better, you still have memories, pictures, ways to remember your mother." He looked her in the eyes, "I'm sure she'd have been proud of the person you've become."
