D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

Kairi knocked a stack of boxs own causeing the fan club not to be able to go throught thay road. Kairi laughed, "hopefully they won't find us agian."

 

Sota looked back as they ran, "I'm just glad there wasn't anything valuable in those crates," He looked Kairi, smiling, "You've got a bit of a mischievious side, doncha?" He laughed as they made another turn.

 

"I wish you could say that there wasn't any value in those crates..." said Kairi, "There was actually fish in there...And I guess you could say that." said kairi smileing.

 

Sota stopped running after making another turn, "Well, there wasn't anything breakable. Let's go with that." He put an arm around Kairi's shoulders, squeezed slightly, and laughed, "Seriously, the more I get to know you, the more fun you are! This is a huge difference from the quiet, timid girl I first met."

 

"thats a better way to say it.." said Kairi, "And The shy timid girl you met before was fully sure of herself then, but i'm sure of my self now."

 

"Be that as it may," Sota stopped walking, and wrapped his arms around Kairi, smiling, "I like this version of you: The confident, fun, trouble-making version that has appeared as a result of my getting to know you better..." He leaned towards her, and kissed her forehead, "I like it a lot."

 

"yeah..." said Kairi she hugged Sota,"I like you too." She then freed him of her hug. She looked into sota's eyes.

 

Sota smiled, looked into Kairi's eyes, and blushed a little, "*ahem*...," he said, looking down the street, "Shall we head get back on course before anything else happens? Anything negative, that is?" He scratched the back of his head with one hand, while reaching for Kairi's hand with the other.

 

"yeah....that may be a good Idea." said Kairi smileing she then grabed sota's hand. "Let's get going."

 

Sota led the way down a couple of blocks, until they reached the diner. There were a few tables out, since it was still fairly early. Sota led Kairi to one closest to the balcony, and sat in one of the chairs.

 

Kairi sat down in the chair that was a cross from him. She looked at the sky then. She sighed seeing that the fanclub was back. "They are back..." said Kairi annoyed.

 

Sota rolled his eyes, "Well, I'm done running. Either we set a trap for them, we hide, or we let them come." He reached out and held her hand, with a fake serious look on his face, "If worse comes to worse, we'll hog tie them."

 

"yeah..." said Kairi laughing, "I say just let them come, then hopefully you could scare them off..."

 

Sota shrugged, "Worth a shot, I guess...ah, here they come. Brace yourself."

The group walked fast, around several tables, to get to Sota and Kairi. The leader, a blonde, looked at Kairi, "Kairi, what are you doing? I thought we had plans! Why are you blowing us off to be with this...this..."

"Shmuck?" Sota helped. The blonde nodded, "Yes! Shmuck!" Sota rolled his eyes, laughing slightly, "Is that the best you can come up with?" The blonde looked at him, confused, while the rest of the group whispered amongst themselves, "'Didn't he give her that one?' 'I dunno...it's all too confusing!'"

 

"Plans what plans?" Said Kairi looking at them, "I don't remeber plans, and I never even talked to you guys that much so why would I make plans with you?"

 

Sota laughed a little, "Apparently you have an evil twin, Kairi,"

The blonde was about to object, when Sota stood up, "Could everyone please excuse a second? We need a small chat." Sota led the blonde away, then turned around to the 'group' trying to follow, "Sorry, but would the entourage please wait a sec? This won't take long. Promise." The girls looked at themselves, then just stood there.

The blonde put on a pre-madonna look after she was led away, "So, what're you gonna say? You gonna threaten me or something?"

Sota took a deep breath, "Look, I think it's sweet that you're trying to protect Kairi, even if we don't think it's necessary. I'm sure you've heard about my being arrested, and know the circumstances behind it. Be that as it may, I want to make this clear: If you have a problem with me, you take it up with me. Your constant harassment is hurting Kairi, making her sick. She's told you repeatedly to leave her alone, and you've not only ignored her, but you've barged in on her on several occasions. That's borderline stalking, and several charges of harassment," Sota looked her in the eyes, completely serious, "One last thing: You can do all you want to me; call me names, make up rumors, throw trash at me, whatever. But if I catch wind that you harm Kairi in any way, even if it's just with words or suggestions, to get to me, I want you to remember these words:

"I got no problem going back to prison."

 

Kairi laughed slightly at what sota said she was enjoying this. She smiled when the girls looked at her, but when they turned around agian kairi laughed agian.

 

The blonde leader's composure appeared calm, but her eyes were completely wide, "You...were in prison? For what?" Sota raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure you really want to know?" The blonde stared at him for a second, then turned towards her group, and motioned for them to come. She looked at Sota one more time, looking like she'd hurt him, but then turned and walked away fast. The group followed her, looking terrified. Sota walked back to his table and sat down.

"Well...," Sota said, "Have you thought about what to have for lunch yet?"

 

"Nope, not yet..." said Kairi, she smiled thankful that sota got the girls to leave.

 

Sota smiled back, "Well...I don't think they'll bother us for awhile," he thought for a second, and sighed, "I'm not really in the mood for anything fancy...I don't think they'll object to a hamburger."
