D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

"I know, I know..." said Kairi a little jokeingly, She looked into sota's eyes.

 

Sota smiled, tilting his head slightly. He stopped walking. He held one of Kairi's arms with one hand, and gently touched her face with the fingers of his other hand, never breaking eye contact.

 

kairi stoped also freezeing slightly, "what?" said Kairi. She looked at sota trying slightly to break eye contact.

 

Sota gently moved a little hair off of Kairi's face. He was starting to turn red again...should he tell her?

"Kairi," he started, "There's something that I've been wanting to tell you...I-" he paused, and narrowed his eyes, focusing behind Kairi. He saw some of the fan club hiding behind some trees. Sota sighed, "Aw, great." he muttered.

 

"You what?" said Kairi looking at sota and then behind her in the trees, "Oh..." Kairi looked at Sota smileing slightly, she saw what was in the trees. "Would you guys go away, You guys are acting like stalkers!" Said Kairi looking at the blonde leader.

 

Sota sighed, and rubbed his forehead, closing his eyes, "Forget it," he said, a little weak, "I'll tell you later. Right now, we better hurry and ditch the group tailing you," he leaned closer and whispered, "I'll meet you on your balcony with With in an hour. I'll find a way to lead the group away from here."

 

"Okay." Said Kairi she turned around slowly and began walking away. She wantd to Know what sota was going to say.

 

Sota walked quickly in the opposite direction, behind an area where the fan group couldn't see. He quickly caught his breath.

"So, what's your plan?" asked Dark, a bit curious.

"Believe it or not, your my plan," Sota said, taking off his jacket and hiding it behind a tree, "Can I count on you to lure them away, and at the same time, not trying anything on them? Like kissing, for example?"

Dark laughed, and shrugged, "You have my word, but I can't promise that they won't try anything." Sota glared at him, "Don't give them reason to, Dark." He closed his eyes, and transformed into Dark. Dark whistled for With, and he appeared as his wings.

"Don't worry, Sota. I know the drill," he grinned, "Always leave them wanting more."

 

She then began to run, Kairi soon made it to her house, running up the stairs and into her room she laid on the bed, breathing deeply, catching her breath.

 

Dark silently and stealthly flew overhead, and quietly landed behind behind the fan club. He looked in their direction, from behind, and whispered, "What are we looking at?"

"Shh!" said one of the girls, but didn't turn around, "We're trying to see if one of the girls is going to go out with this bad guy. If she is, we'll follow them and break them up!" Dark looked dramatically worried, "Oh dear! Surely not! But, is this all you do?"

The girl shook her head, still not turning around, "No, we're also the 'Dark Mousy Fan Club'. If we hear about his next appearance, we scout out locations to see him." Dark nodded his head, smiling, and spoke a little louder, "Wow. I had no idea you were such fans of my work." A few of the girls turned around and gasped. A couple of them tapped the shoulders of the other girls, and soon all were staring, open jawed, at Dark.

Dark winked, "Hi there." He then quickly jumped and flew off into the air, towards the city, but a little slowly. The girls shrieked and chased after him...

Dark popped out of the bushes after the girls were some distance away. The 'fake Dark' they were chasing would lead them away for hours. He smiled, then quickly flew off to meet with Kairi. He landed on her balcony, and transformed back into Sota. Sota gently knocked on the glass door of her balcony.

 

Kair opened the door, "I see you finally got away for the fan club." said Kairi smileing, se then walked on to the balcony, closeing the door.

 

"Yeah," smiled Sota, as he hugged Kairi, "They're heading towards the city," He looked into her eyes, "I've got to pick up some things in my apartment, first, before we can go. Do you mind a quick stop there, before we head off?"

 

"I don't mind." said Kairi, She was thinking about what he was going to say earilier. What was he going to say, and if I see those girls agian...I swear they will be sorry.

 

"Okay," Sota smiled. He scooped up Kairi, as With became his wings, "Hold on!" He jumped, and flew himself and Kairi to the balcony of his apartment across the street. Once there, he landed, gently put Kairi down, and opened the glass door inside, "I'll be a moment. You can come inside, if you'd like."

 

"uh, Okay." said Kairi, "I'll stay out here." Kairi smiled, sitting down in the grass. She looked at sota.

 

Sota quickly got the picnic basket he prepared, grabbed his backpack, and another bag. He attached his two bags together, slung them over his shoulder, and went back out to meet Kairi.

"Ready to go?" he smiled, "The fan club went towards the city, and where we're going is in the opposite direction, so we don't really have to worry about them following us."

 

"Yeah, I'm ready." said Kairi standing up she looked at sota and smiled. he said that he would tell me later...when is later? thought Kairi, continueing to smile.

 

Sota nodded, "Okay," he scooped up Kairi, and flew high in the sky almost at cloud level. They rode the air currents that flowed away from the city, towards the forest. Sota, however, fell silent.

Dark noticed something was up, "I don't think she'd object to you telling her, Sota," he said, "After all this, she wouldn't leave."

 

Kairi looked down, trying to avoid looking at sota. It was bothing her, what was he going to say? It was all because of the Fan club...he might have told her what he was going to say but...Who knew?

 

Sota gulped a little, "Kairi?"
