D.N.Angel: The return of Dark and Krad.

"I'm sorry but I can't say what happened." said Kira.
Kairi left the top of the stairs and went to her room.

 

Sota saw Kairi leave as Kira said that. Darn it, Sota, what did you do now?, he thought.

He nodded, "Okay...have you two eaten yet?"

 

"No not yet." said Kira turning to face sota agian.

 

"Alright, let's see if we can't remedy that. Where's your kitchen at?"

 

"It's at the very end of the hallway...there are many doors down the hall so don't turn before you get there." said Kira,"I'm going to go check on kairi." Kira walked up the stairs and disaapeared down a long hallway.

 

"Got it, thanks," Sota proceeded down the hallway, "End of the hallway, end of the hallway...okay, yeah, this looks like it." Sota started searching for what to work with, "Pots, pans...okay. Chicken, vegies,...some seasoning...looks like chicken soup would work for those two." Sota put some water in a pot to boil, and started to chop some vegetables.

 

Kira knocked on Kairi's door and said "Kairi can I come in?"
"What do you want?" said Kairi fanitly.
"I want to come in." said Kira.
"fine." said Kairi.
Kira opened the door.
"Whats wrong?" said Kira.
"Why did you have to tell him dad died?" said Kairi.
"i'm sorry I should have asked you before I said it..." said Kira, "and plus he seems nice so I thought I would let him come in and help..."

 

Sota put the chopped vegetables into the water, and started getting the chicken ready.

Losing your dad,he thought, deja vu.

 

"I really don't want him here right now..." said Kairi. "Why?" said Kira.
"uh...never mind..." said Kairi. kira was think of reasons why kairi didn't want sota here. Then Kira found on reason that could be true does she like him? thought kira.
kira thought about it more and finally gave up on that consept.

 

Sota pulled up a chair and sat as the water started to boil. He already put in the chicken and noodles, and was waiting for the soup itself to get done.

Gotta give Saehara this much, Sota thought, he was good at teaching how to cook.

Sota's mind wandered to how this weird day had gone. From observatory to being fired at another job. All in all, usual for how his life went. Being employed for free by a pair of siblings from his own school was a new one, though.

I wonder why I've never seen Kira at school before..., he thought.

 

kira left Kairi's room and shut the door. He walked down stairs adn to the kitchen and said "did you find everything you needed?"

 

Sota nodded, "Yeah. I'm making chicken soup. It should be ready in a few minutes." Sota stretched a little, "So, do you go to school here? I don't recall ever seeing you there with Kairi."

 

kira looked down at the quetion and said "I go to schoool here but I'm one grade above her...And I usaully go unnoticed..."

 

"Okay," Something's up. First their father, then...wait.

"Look, it's clear that I'm new around here, and I don't know how everything works with you two," Sota got up and stirred the soup, "If there's something you're uncomfortable talking about, let me know, and I'll drop it."

 

"No...It's better if I talk about since I only have a little time left." said Kira sitting at the table.

 

Sota looked back at him, confused, "Huh?"

 

"what is there something wrong?" said kira.

 

"What do you mean 'a little time left'?" Sota replied.

 

"I was born with a deadly dease and the doctors said I would only live to be fifteen." said Kira.

 

Sota nearly dropped the spoon. His eyes were wide.

"There's no cure? What's the disease?"
