Danny Phantom <3

"Oh, my parents thought I should get out. You still didn't tell me your name."

Johny followed the duo to Danny's house. "My ghost is somewhere near by." He said to himself.

 

"My name's Samantha, but just call me Sam. Would you like to meet your neighbors?" Sam asked Johny.

 

'Johny would really like that.' "Yeah. that would be nice. Come on, Sam." He grabbed her hand and pulled her along.

 

Danny cringed when he opened the door, but was relieved to find that his parents must have been too busy in the lab to come upstairs, or, even more luckily, they didn't notice.

"It's pretty big," Daine commented once they were inside.

"There's also the basement and the Op-centre," Danny told her. "But my dad fills up most of the space with his inventions."

 

Sam laughed. "Okay."

After a few minutes they had finally arrived. "Here we are. I must warn you though, they're kinda... nuts. They believe in ghosts." Sam said as she knocked on the door.

 

"So do I. I seen a ghost once. It had a White 'D' on his chest." The ghost said.

'There you are ghost.'

'Sorry I'm late Johny. I was watching Sam as you asked.'

 

Danny grit his teeth; a knock at the door and his ghost sense never went well together. "Daine, go on upstairs. I'll be up in just a second."

"Yeah, okay," Daine headed up the stairs, her own ghost sense flowing lightly from her mouth. She would have liked to stay and see the action directly, but it looked like she'd have to spy again.

Danny glanced at the basement door to make sure that it was closed. He could faintly hear the sounds of his parents working. He went and opened the door, suprised to see Sam with another boy; the last time she'd had a crush on a boy, the Guys in White had been involved, Danny's least favorite opponents.
"Hey, Sam," Danny greeted, small whips of light blue smoke coming from his mouth as he spoke. "Who's this?"

 

Sam smiled. "Johny, your new neighbor. This is Danny." Sam introduced them.

 

"Johny, huh?" Danny repeated. "I never noticed any of the houses nearby go up for sale."

 

"Isn't he hot- I mean cool?"

 

Danny folded his arms, not liking the feeling he was getting from 'his new neighbor.'

 

"You okay Danny?" Sam asked.

 

Danny sighed, more of his ghost sense released. "When did you two meet?"

 

"About half an hour ago." Sam smiled again.

 

"Okay," Danny murmured at last. He looked at the sky for a moment, noting that the sun was out; so why was he so cold?

 

"Hey Danny, you okay?"

 

"Y-yeah," Danny answered. "Kinda cold though."

 

"Want me to make you some soup or something?" Sam asked as she went to the kitchen.

 

Danny rubbed his head as he followed Sam. "You don't have to. Jazz'll be home soon and she'll freak over me enough." He laughed. "I'm probably just getting sick or something; must've been from Nasty Burger this morning."

 

Sam started preparing the soup. "That reminds me, what did you want to tell me before?"
