*do you like me Danny?" Sam asked seriously looking at Danny straight in the eye.

 

"I-" Danny was cut off by his ghost sense. He looked around the Nasty Burger and outside, but saw nothing expect people talking and going about their business.

 

"well do you?"

 

"Yeah, come on Danny."

 

"What?" Danny looked at Sam, still perplexed by his ghost sense. "Sorry guys, my ghost sense keeps going off, but there's no ghost near here."

 

"Just say if you like Sam or if you don't like Sam. Quit beating around the bush."

 

"It's okay if you don't" Sam looked away. She wasn't sure why, but she felt a bit down all of a sudden.

 

"Sam, you're my friend just as much as Tucker is." Danny answered.

 

"But do you want to date her?"

 

"I-" Danny began, looking around nervously. "I don't know..."

 

Sam wasn't paying attention, she was lost deep in her thoughts. "Do I like Danny?" Sam asked herself

 

Danny closed his Astrology book and put his supplies back in his backpack when he finished. "How much time to we have left, Tuck?"

 

"6 minutes to get to school."

 

"Aw man!" Danny exclaimed. "We've got to go now."

 

"Then lets go!" Sam got her stuff and went on ahead.

 

"It takes 2 minutes to get to school though." Tucker said, right before biting a Nasty Burger. "Mmmmmmmm...Meat..."

 

"C'mon, Tuck," Danny followed after Sam. He bumped into a girl just outside of the Nasty Burger. "Sorry," He apologized, his eyes widening when his ghost sense went off again.

"That's okay," The girl smiled. "I wasn't watching where I was going. Are you alright?" Small blue whisps of breath came from her mouth as she spoke.

"Yeah, I- I'm fine," Danny stuttered.

 

"Umm Danny, are you alright man?"

 

Sam ran back "Danny, everything alright?" Sam asked while she was looking at the girl.

 

Danny nodded at Tucker and Sam, his eyes still on the girl.

The girl noticed Danny and Tucker's backpacks. "Are you headed to Casper High? I'm new and I don't know my way."

"We are," Danny said quickly. "You can come with us."
